Uniform question!

Post image

I am a high school cheer coach and I want to potentially add some variety to our uniforms. This is what we are currently using and I have no complaints. I’d like to add the option of a pleated skirt, but I’m not sure if that would work because of the white lines on the side and black in the back. If anyone has any recommendations, I’d appreciate it!

Would the pleated skirt be as part of a dress or separate top and skirt?

It’s a separate top and skirt

The only issue is that I like the look of a continuous shell-skirt, not an abrupt and obvious difference between shell/skirt if that makes sense?

Have a look at my edit with the two ideas

Your Varsity rep should be able to give you a visual of what a pleated skirt would look like with that top.

You might be able to get your Varsity rep to get something close to this. Just have to reach out to them and ask.

Do you have a liner that goes under the top?? Asking bc some teams will order a liner with another logo on it (cheaper than a new shell) to go with a different skirt. You could do an all green (or whatever color ur uni actually is) liner with a pleated skirt. I’d look at UMass Amherst as an example

Yes, this is the liner!

Look up the uniforms for Ballard High School in Seattle, WA. The black one is the classiest one I’ve ever seen.

This is what Ive been wanting to do & I think what Automatic Tea is suggesting above. Maybe if lettering could be added to the existing liner (unless it's a half top) or a plain green one could be used.

We just retired this uniform and I miss it so much! I don’t know if you can make a pleat skirt work with it. For my new design I went with a different shell so I could do a straight and a pleated skirt.
