Meta No more posts about how the fries look in the packaging.

While yes, it is frustrating, it is posted about constantly and doesn’t bring any value to this community.

If you’re wondering why this happens: - Fries deflate. The packaging should be full when it is initially filled, but after ~5 minutes, it begins to deflate. This is just the nature of fries.

Thank you for understanding. If you have any suggestions about what you’d like to see in this community, please comment below what those are or send us modmail.

Meta Made my own ChickFila Griddle!

I agree with most that the waffle isn’t crispy enough, and is plenty sweet without extra syrup. So this morning, I decided to make my own sandwich. Basically sausage, egg, and cheese on the Chick-fil-A waffles. Was very tasty. Again, wish the waffle was a little crispy, but otherwise it did not disappoint.

Southwest Grilled Salad

Upvotes

Hi there, I was wondering if there was a way to add extra grilled nuggets from the app to the salad besides just buying the nuggets?

chicken and waffles

saw a couple people like halfway complaining that the new chicken and waffles waffle was too sweet? also heard irl that people felt that way about it as well. i just tried it & NO ONE has mentioned that it has cinnamon in it?? it’s delicious!! i could imagine it’s too sweet with syrup, so fair enough, but without it it tastes like a french toast sandwich!! the bacon is a beautiful touch as well! highly recommend if you’re in a brunchy mood!!!

Failed attempt at BEC on waffle

Post image

Today I went to try to order a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a waffle, which seemed to completely blow the mind of the CFA team member on the register.

She basically gave me a confused look and said that it’s only possible to have a chicken and waffle sandwich.

I then asked her if she could ring it in as a chicken and waffle sandwich, add egg and cheese. She said yes. I asked her if this would essentially mean it is a chicken, bacon, egg, and cheese on waffle. She said yes.

Then I said OK, can you take off the chicken. And then she said no.

Next, I asked her if she could ring it in as a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and sub the biscuit for a waffle. She told me this was not possible.

At this point, I got a bit frustrated because I felt like she was just being difficult and not wanting to admit that she was wrong or maybe that she didn’t know what to do it. The final solution I came to was to order the bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit and then add a waffle on the side.

She told me that there is no way to get a side waffle. So I gave up. Told her I would order the waffle on the app, and she could just ring up the bacon egg and cheese biscuit meal.

(The reason I did not want to do this as a waffle, add bacon egg and cheese on the app is because the photo on the app only shows one single waffle, though some people here said that the waffle comes pre-cut into two pieces. To avoid disappointment in finding a discrepancy between what people say here and what is actually happening in the restaurant, I thought it best to do this entire order in person at the restaurant. When I received the waffle, it was wrapped as one piece and I was a bit worried. Upon unwrapping it, though, this ended up being true- the app shows a picture of one waffle, but it is cut into two pieces!)

I put in feedback on the Chick-fil-A cares regarding the experience. Thanks for reading my post as i whine and complain lol today did not feel like it was a pleasure to help me, they made me feel like it was a burden 🫠🥺

New menu

Had the new chicken and waffle sandwich I was super excited for it as I’m a big chicken and waffle girl. Sandwich was not what I expected. It’s really sweet (too sweet for me). I think they bread chicken differently? It was still really good! If you want to try s’mores with sandwich it’ll be like over 100 grams of sugar. I’d give sandwich 8/10 just bc it’s too sweet. I definitely would add cheese I think it would be really good with it. Would I buy it again? Yes but add cheese.

Guest Question Am I wrong for feeling a little grossed out by all this trash laying around?

There were genuinely like a dozen tables with old trays on them, a couple random unmapped puddles of water, etc. And this was at 9PM with only like 25% of customers. The condiments station was also weirdly very empty except for straws.

Other CFA’s in my area aren’t usually like this but it seems like this location misses the mark every now and then. I’m going to submit feedback but if this isn’t something to cry home about please let me know. At least the chicken and waffle was yummy

Edit: Welp the responses seem pretty mixed so I might just do the survey and leave it at that. I was there for probably around 25 minutes dining in and it was still like this. Pic #1 and #4 were actually taken about 15 minutes apart and there were about 4 tables occupied for context including my own. I'll try again next week, could just be a one-off deal

Unreal treatment of customers.

I’ll try to make this short.

Chick fil a in Lexington ky.

I have orders from them all the time a minimum of 2 times a week.

Several orders I have placed for delivery have been wrong.

I’ve had drinks wrong, with different name and phone number on receipt.

Missing sandwiches, missing sides. Had one 30 piece nugget with the top open and 23 nuggets in it.

The last 2 orders I ordered chicken waffles, one was missing the syrup. One was missing the whole
Sandwich.

I asked for refund for the sandwich missing and they would not. I went up the chain of door dash and Chick-fil-A and they all Said sorry can’t help. Finally they said it was due to to many refunds. Refunds for items the messed up on.

Unreal.

Team Member Question Why the SOLID black shoes only?

Just a question here but what is the obsession with them being SOLID black. My first shift is this week and trying to get extra wide solid black shoes that are either boot cut type or higher up non ankle almost showing is hell. The only pair I could find on the website they gave me, they won’t let me wear cause of a tiny bit of yellow for the brand name on them

It was sweet enough without the syrup - I didn’t even notice they give you syrup until I was almost done and saw it in the bag lol

The smores shake 🫨 no

The smores milkshake is SOOOOO good but I’ll be completely honest and say holy crap it was sooooo sweet! I liked it but no way could I finish the whole thing and that was with sharing it with my son. Glad I tried it though!

Then I tried the lunch chicken & waffles sandwich (I tried the breakfast one earlier this week) and I LOOOOVVEEED it! I actually used the syrup (as a dip) for the sandwich it was 🔥!

Again, no bacon but added American cheese! Will for sure get it again!!!

I know some have complained about the waffles not being crisp, but it wouldn’t be the same sandwich (to me) if they were. I prefer the softer texture.

Anyone else crisp up their fries in a toaster oven? I miss being able to ask if I can get them well done though

I'll admit these are crispier than most people would like them but their fries are usually undercooked..

Longer wait times

Just curious if the waffle sandwiches and coffee drinks are increasing wait times? Went through mobile through today with 4 cars in front of me and waited 18 minutes. Went through mobile through at a different location on Wednesday and waited over 20 minutes. Both times ordered a frosted drink, we frequent these locations and usually its not even 5 minutes.

What Does Everyone Really Think Of The Chicken & Waffles Sandwich?

I'm going to be trying one next week and wanted to know everyone's honest opinions about it. Is it good in your opinion? How big is it? Is it worth it to get 2 or 3 for leftovers the next day? Do you add any extra toppings to the sandwich? Does it taste good with bacon or cheese? How much syrup do you put on it?
