Resources Does anybody use TrainChinese?

I keep reading a couple of different apps‘ names here on this sub but I never switched to any of them simply out of laziness because I have been using trainchinese for ages because there wasn’t really any other option back then and all my flash cards are already in there.
I like that it has a built in dictionary and that you can directly save words from the dictionary as flash cards but I‘m afraid that I’m missing out on some fancier features that other apps have. I also noticed that in some cases the suggested stroke order is incorrect on trainchinese. I also liked that it was free in the beginning but know I keep reaching the flash card limit and have to buy extra.

Has anybody used trainchinese and thinks other apps are better and worth switching?

I tried it once.  Basically, a dictionary with big ads and paywalls all around.

Ads? Paywalls? I don't have any ads. And what paywalls? Sure, they have additional apps, like some kinds of games or something, that aren't free. But the basic app is free and I only decided to pay a little bit when I reached my flash card limit. I don't really find the app bad by any means. I'm just worried I might be missing out on some better features that other apps have. Is there any other app that you use and recommend?

I use it as a dictionary (web version). I mainly use SuperChinese app (paid subscription).
Another useful app is Pleco, which works even without the internet.
It's helpful to search for unknown hanzi using handwriting or camera.

Usually, I do my homework and at the same time write down everything that was covered in the lesson in my notebook.
