I’ve seen some talk and questions about what happened at the Tuesday nights show. I posted a TikTok explaining and using my videos I got of the mistreatment.

Last night at the Fete Music Hall, members of Chiodos' crew came out and were catching crowd surfers for the last few songs after venue security refused to do anything.

I didn't notice the lack of security up front at first; there weren't a ton of crowd surfers, but then Craig Owens said something to the effect of, "Hey, be careful crowdsurfing; there's no one up here."

At some point in the set, Owens had reached down mid song to help a girl who was crowd surfing reach the ground safely. After that, guitarist and keyboardist Mitch got in a verbal altercation with one of the security guards, I was close enough that I could hear some of what he said, but it was clear, Do your fucking job.

The frustration was visible on some of the band's faces.

For the last two songs, as the energy was at its peak and more crowd surfers started, the band's crew came out to catch people.

I've never seen something like that before in more than 20 years of going to shows in and around New England.

Fete has a storied past with crowds, most notably in 2023 when a Bodysnatcher show ended early due to security being overly aggressive with fans, leading to a physical altercation with the band.

The crew stepped up to fill a void they shouldn't have to, but I'm glad they did. It shows that the band and crew truly care about their fans.

I’m going to see chiodos this week and was wondering if it was possible to get barricade with having a vip ticket because I was planning on getting there early to be able to get barricade but I’m unsure since I found out about vip
