Chromecast (2nd Gen) Casting Issue

When trying to cast from my Ipad to my Samsung TV, after i click the cast button, it's listing my Samsung TV as "Playing Youtube" but there's nothing playing. There's also a new icon on the upper right hand of the youtube app that shows "now playing" when i click on that it's from a video that i've never seen before and not the one that's open, but for some reason the TV thinks i'm casting that video. It almost feels like there's something hidden in the background that i can't get to. Anyone else have this issue?

Just to make it a little more clear, which Samsung TV model is it? Is it native Google cast built in, the older DIAL casting for older Tizen TVs, or the CC gen 2 in your flair?
