One thing I do is I name the religion after a fast food place from that country so if I’m playing as Australia, it’ll be called Hungry Jack’s or if I’m Canada, it’ll be Tim Horton’s

Why can’t I build a national park here? Should it be built like in picture 3?

Hey everyone! I’ve started getting the hang of playing at deity so I’m trying to get better and be more strategic about my choices.

How does conquering a city with a wonder work? Meaning. Let’s say I conquer one with the Eiffel Tower (and decide to keep the city), does the bonus apply to my empire now?

I guess that stuff like tourism and production stays with whoever owns it, cause it makes sense.

But stuff like +1 slot, empire wide effects, abilities (like apostles get martyr, etc)…how do those work? Does the bonus transfer? Does it apply to whoever built it?

is it just me or do the victory movies seem
really underwhelming, especially when you compare them to the opening movie you get when you first launch the game like the graphics music and whole aura are legendary like a whole movie for simply opening the game but when you actually play the game and put in effort all your rewarded with is a dull cutscene that isnt even a video its just like pictures shifting. still love the game and i dont think it really takes anything away from it but it kinda just feels like they could of done something more

I know there are mods for extra religious icons, or being able to name units once you get them. Do they ALL disable achievements?

I'm still new to 6, mind you.

What game speed do you play on if you're playing solo?

Pretty self explanatory but some more info.

Started after a immortal difficulty, Eleanor of Aquitaine France, culture based game, where I first encountered an issue of not being able to access my great works tab at around turn 340. I looked for solutions and tried to uninstall the "great works viewer" mod. When I began the Civ client, my computer audio turned off. I played through it and finished my game, and then tried to uninstall the game and all mods to try and fix it. The game still disables all audio from my computer when in the client.

Basically
- Tried uninstalling all mods and game and reinstalling
- Tried restarting computer
- Checked audio drivers
- Checked other steam games (audio works on all other games I tested)
- Tried verifying integrity of game files

Nothing is seeming to work. Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Please let me know any ideas.
