Hi everyone,
I've added a few new flairs and a new rule to go along with them. We now have the "Modded" flair as well as flairs for the popular mods: Lifegen, Genemod, Megamerge, and Disabilities & Disorders.
Please try to use these for posts regarding content from those mods (Screenshots, bugs, etc). It is helpful to the rest of the community to know where a post is coming from + if you're encountering a bug or crash, community members can offer feedback on where to report or circumvent a bug/crash that perhaps is only relevant to that mod.
If you all have other ideas of flairs that might be useful or perhaps flairs that are not used and need removing, please let me know!

Hi, I just wanted to provide an update to my earlier post about the reddit’s lack of moderation.
My stance has been that subreddit moderation should be performed by community members who are not involved in ClanGen’s development. This is so that you all have a space where you can feel safe critiquing ClanGen and the features that are or are not added without feeling intimidated a developer on the moderation team.
That being said, as you might see already, I have been made a mod of the subreddit. That happened because the previous founder reached out to ClanGen’s moderation team on the discord and asked if they were interested in moderating the reddit. The moderation said no. To reiterate: This is not an officially moderated subreddit or Official ClanGen Subreddit, it is for the community and not going to be run by ClanGen staff or officially affiliated with ClanGen’s official discord server.
The mods did however, ask us developers if we had any interest and I pitched organizing a transfer back to the reddit community as I am active in the dev discord and the reddit community. That is how we’ve gotten there we are. The current head moderator is slowly transferring head modship over to me but reddit has a few hoops to jump through until that transition is fully complete.
My intentions are as follows:
To revise the rules slightly to clarify them and emphasize a focus on safety and acceptance after the incidents recently with transphobia and ableism.
Appoint active adult community members who have expressed interest in moderating in my previous thread.
My intention is to stay on as an owner in case there is any future inactivity from moderation and in that case appoint other mods to perform actual moderation duties.
If there are any other suggestions, criticisms, or comments you all have as a community, Please let me know. This is your subreddit and I think any future decisions should take into consideration what you all want.

Unfortunetly, my clan has five med cats, from Cloudy to Grousescreech....
She's bossy, quick witted and likes to splash in puddles. I think she's super pretty but I can't think of a good name for her

How are you all effectively using your mediators? Do they actually accomplish anything? I’ve just started playing this week and am a little lost.

After fleeing from the horrible Fireclan because the death of Fishpaw by the orders of Whisperstar. Starclan delivers a message to them. "The new clan must travel for 100 moons until reach a place where the strongest warriors are required. Until then, they will be known as Nomadclan, the clan of the wanderers." So the new clan made up of Fireclan rebels will have to go through a journey to get where Starclan wants them to be.
I drew the Nomadclan. I'm not an artist, and I challenged myself to try to draw them better each time until I can publish a comic about them. I hope you can see the resemblance to the rest of the clan. Suggestions and advice are welcome.
And if You want more information about the members, these are the members of Nomadclan and their story:
Fishpaw: He was a rebel in life who poisoned Whisperstar to end his tyrannical reign; however, he was discovered in the act and ordered assassinated by Whisperstar. He only lived for seven moons. Now in Starclan, he guides Nomadclan on their path and takes it upon himself to protect cats both in life and in death.
Silverflame: She was a loyal warrior to Whisperstar, grateful to be united in a clan after being a loner for so long. After it is revealed that her apprentice, Pipitpaw (formerly known as Flowerpaw) is a traitor; Silverflame proves his loyalty to Whisperstar by killing Fishpaw. However, after murdering him, he begins to encounter him in dreams with a prophecy: to flee the clan he fought so hard for and create one alongside rebels he despises. However, she loves Pipitpaw as if he were her own son, despite his betrayal. When she learns that the prisoners have escaped, she has no choice but to fight for Pipitpaw's life Even if this makes her a traitor to the clan she fought so hard to earn her place. She joins the rebels, finally revealing Starclan's wishes; however, she will have to redeem herself for the horrible acts she committed, and not everyone will forgive her for what she did.
Sharpstar: She is a very young leader. She is very chaotic and has a rebellious nature, a creature trapped in a clan under senseless tyranny, rebelled without considering the consequences, ultimately losing Fishpaw 's life. As leader of the rebellion, she will have to learn that her decisions cost lives and how to manage the weight of a nomadic clan.
Roarspike: She is a strong warrior who fiercely deals with anyone who tries to harm those she loves. She becomes the clan's deputy, using her extensive experience to guide the inexperienced leader on the Journey.
Drizzleheart: A medicine cat who was forced to abandon her own kitten, sent far away from the territory by the two-legs, after watch the cats she loved most die at the paws of Whisperstar. She becomes a rebel so that no cat has to go through her pain. She is very compassionate, Perhaps too much. She knows that, probably because of her age, she won't live to see all 100 moons, however, she wants to help for the moons she is allowed to live alongside her clan.
Frostkit: The most annoying kitten in the nursery. She wasn't a rebel; she just saw the other cats escaping and told them that if they didn't take her on that adventure, she'd scream all over the camp Until they take her away. With no other options, Frostkit becomes the youngest member of the clan.
Mightnightpaw: A highly anxious apprentice who, after being abused by Whisperstar, her mentor, sees becoming a rebel as her only way out. However, even if she resigns from Fireclan, that doesn't mean that so many moons of abuse will simply disappear. She will have to learn to trust her new clan again, which will rather become his new family.
Stoneburn: No matter where you leave this cat, she'll always find a way to make conversation, even with rocks. When the days became so bleak in Fireclan and even the slightest word was cause for death, Stoneburn decided to become a rebel. However, in Nomadclan, she will have to learn to communicate with Mightnightpaw and learn to be patient and measure the impact of her words.
Pipitpaw: Flowerpaw is the name they gave him to avoid accepting who he was. For Pipitpaw, leaving his clan and founding a new one allowed him to be who he truly was. He feels conflicted about how much he loves his mentor and at the same time, how much he hates him for killing his friend Fishpaw. In time, he will know whether or not to forgive that action.
Glacierpaw: He abandoned his parents, siblings, and everything he knew to support Fishpaw, his best friend. With his friend's death, he feels lost. Now he must find his own path, guided by his ideals. To find what he truly wants, what he really thinks.

I wanted to immortalize how pretty they are before any of them become elders or (sobs) venture to StarClan! They also have a bunch of gorgeous descendants, but if I included them then we'd be here all day (and, sadly, not all of them are alive). Whistlerstar has such pretty kits with both of her mates...
