I got this pot at a yard sale for a dollar without realizing the state of it. Is there any way I can get this in any better shape or is it just a loss

Immediate toss. It looks it was once maybe nonstick and has come off in the previous owners’ food - and don’t let it get in yours

Toss that is dangerous to use.
