Ive been milling this over for a few years writing when I can jotting down ideas here & there. Notebooks scribbled in books with a ton of posts with scribbled half notes for reminders & ideas on them. Here the list of through 3 strokes, 2 long term hospital stays, due to they strokes, and a broken tail bone also thanks to loose of balance from strokes, ive kept my idea going. Here i present them to you to get an idea of what you think worth fleshing out, into a campaign??? "Deep beneath the misty ridgelines of the 1860s Appalachians, a lost platoon of Confederate soldiers retreated into a labyrinthine cave system, never to return to the surface. Stripped of their rifles and uniform rags, they were dragged into the abyssal depths of an ancient subterranean city. There, a degenerate branch of Serpent People—severed from their high empire and degraded into cruel, cannibalistic zealots—kept the soldiers as cattle. They forced the captive men into a horrifying breeding program to perpetuate a weakened, corrupted bloodline dedicated to the bloody, gluttonous worship of Tsathoggua. More than a century later, a team of modern spelunkers and occult investigators discovers a rusted metal tin hidden deep within a uncharted Appalachian cavern. Inside rests a rotting, leather-bound journal written by one of the original soldiers, chronicling generations of torment, horrific rituals, and the blasphemous fate of his lineage. As the investigators piece together the terrible history, a primordial force stirs in the dark. Yig, the Father of Serpents, views these Tsathoggua-worshipping degenerates as a cosmic disgrace—perverting the sacred serpentine legacy with filth and sloth. Recognizing the investigators' resolve, Yig marks them not as victims, but as His sacred instruments of fury."
