Discussion Thoughts on Beta Weapons/Comp Guns
Wanted to ask thoughts on guns from the Beta - obviously it's still early and there will be more balancing + the weapons we haven't seen. Of the ones we have seen, I hope the pros don't default to the M4/Iso - personally have really been enjoying the XMR as a slower AR. Not sure about the sub; I like the 74u but two slow weapons is probably a non starter. Interested in other's initial opinions.

I think the Patriot is fun but it might be a little too good

No way it’s the patriot. There’s definitely going to be a MCW type gun in the full release. Looks like they reference it in the patch notes even though it’s not in the game

Dont seem bad tbh, han/iso probably will end up being the comp weapons and they seem decently balanced

We haven't seen the other ar and subs in action yet they also might nerf and buff aome of these weapons at launch. Also hopefully they fix the attachment buffs and nerfs system.
I hate how the pros just pick two guns and rock them for the entire year despite guns getting nerfed and buffed throughout the year. Especially when they have a month or so before the season starts.
I know last year was a outlier with the mpc which should have received a slight nerf imo but it was better then the dravec.

Han feels like a great fit for the comp AR but we’ll see what the other weapons are like at launch. Of the beta SMGs the ISO seems like the clear pick

It definitely WON'T be the Patriot XMR, trust me. I don't think it'll be the M4A1 either though, I think it'll be the Han 86 personally, cuz it's the lowest recoil AR for beaming, and then for the SMG, from what we know/seen so far, I would definitely assume it's the ISO. The idea for CDL/Comp balancing seems to be: AR that beams with typically lower than average damage & SMG that has fast ttk up-close, but drops off and becomes hard to beat the AR past short/medium ranges, so assuming they're still going for that same balance here, it's gotta be the Han 86 and ISO if nothing changed for those weapons and no new weapons were in the full game lol. Obviously that's NOT the case though, so we still don't know, but that's certainly my best guess, personally. My main thing is that I just hope/want a Sniper in SnD, but it's hard to make a guess for that, considering it depends on their specific priorities. If they want an all-around decent sniper that can one-shot upper chest, then the KG-7 Vulcan for sure, but if they want a powerful but slow sniper like they did for MW 2019 with the HDR, then they're gonna go for the Signal .50 i'd have to assume.

Everyone knows its going to be the m4 and iso and then everything will be adjusted around these guns.
Doesn't matter if there could be a better meta. Got to have the the do it all guns and nothing else matters

I still see pros trying to force the m4 unless it's becomes too obvious it's op like in MW2 but I hope I'm wrong.

Could see them GA attachments and then Try the M4, M4 can gun iso and other subs currently close range which is OP lol. Han is balanced to where u cant do that and its a laser kinda like AMES in b06

All the guns right now feel horrible, I genuinely don't think any of the SMGs will be viable for the meta. Like the SMGs feel bad on top of how bad the game feels, so I don't think any of them should be used, as for a rifle? It's hard to say, m4 kills to fast, the han probably kills too slow, and the Patriot is high damage and abnormally accurate relative to the other guns so it probably won't be used. I think we've just gotta hope the guns that aren't in the beta are better, but I'm honestly not hopeful.

Movement slightly clunky, ADSing slightly clunky. Too many settings to change before the games feels better to play instead of out of the box set up. Aim assist is way too strong, it’s annoying when it slows your down or drags as you’re trying to move. Maps are not good spawns are absolutely terrible and both together make each other worse. TTK got decently fixed already so that’s nice.
This is their 4th game since MW19 which all feel like the same game, minor tweaked. The fact this isn’t a polished and perfectly ready to release game is absolutely laughable.
This is as close to a legal scam as you can get. For the second year I probably won’t buy.

So the question was about which guns do you think will be used in comp… do you care to comment on that?

Doesn’t even matter. Rest of the game needs fixing before the meta matters. As always, this state isn’t what guns will be a) upon launch, or b) later when the ranked mode actually drops.
Talking meta in the beta of an unpolished title lmao
Sadly the community is brainwashed. Most people will be on GTA 6 anyway.

outside of the M4, I really enjoyed the HAN.
