Not me but a regular customer hit the jackpot at the Coinstar machine. I think this coin is pretty awesome, I did not even know it existed! She got this coin and a lot of old silver coins when she saw a woman trying to put a bunch of them into the Coinstar. She bought the bag of coins for face value plus a little extra, not knowing what anything would be worth. I think this coin is pretty cool.

Got lucky this morning while grocery shopping. I prefer the George of 1964 over the new one.

Second coinstar find in the past two weeks.

Mix match of items 3 silver 2 dimes and a quarter plus 1 1776~2026 quarter ans some noncoin items forgot to add the pennies to the group Pic.

My coinstar finds from two branches of my backup credit union while offloading my leftover pennies from $35 CRH.

First stop: 2000P dime laying on its side against the back of the dump slot. 1 lock key sitting on the ledge, tossed in the trash can. Nothing in the reject slot.

Second stop: 2003 1 Phillipine Peso, 1 Penny and a guardian angel token in the reject slot.

Bonus: $28 in twos on my second stop.

I know it’s not much, but it’s a good feeling to finally find something after religiously checking the Coinstar machine at my local grocery store.

Pumped

It only takes a few good grabs to top off a week.
Prior week was mostly spendables. This week, I found some of the most random things that I have ever pulled.
QE II came in from around the globe with Hong Kong, Australia, and a cool Canadian Olympics coin.
Steelie Abe nasty made an appearance this week (I may have to get a new sheet in my book just for 43s.) Also found a pretty slick 41 wheat.
The random stuff included my first shell casing, a drill bit, a tarnished 06 CEC token, two almost matching earrings from two different machines (one with a 925 clasp,) and that 8mm socket that you’re always looking for!

This is the 2nd time I’ve found a silver dime at this particular location in the month. Too bad my oldest wasn’t with me I’ve been teaching her to check during our grocery runs.

I finally found some silver

Found in a local Walmart- I felt so sketchy with a large screen showing me being recorded just behind..

.. but actually, it _was_ abandoned… just peeking up at me all alone and I thought… “screw it, anyone would pick this up, might as well be me”.

Glad I did! She’s a beaut and actually seems pretty uncirculated. Also it was the transitional year no less. As a stacker and numismatist I am doubly delighted.
