Picked this up at my craft store today alongside some inexpensive alcohol markers and I’m excited to try out this new hobby! Any tips or advice?

Now I just have to color the critters in the page. From “Color this cozy” coloring book. Using Ohuhu markers, some acrylics and gel pens

Coloring when I should be sleeping 😅 but I feel calmer having finished! This one feels kind of different for me but I think I’m getting the hang of the shadows and highlights. I was fully intimidated by the wave though lol

There's a weird wobbly shaped object floating and two paving stones? 😭 idk it does not make sense to me. I've been looking at it for like 2 hours now.

today I finished my blueprint page. It was really fun to do. 💙💎

Used alcohol markers, acrylic markers and gel pens and book is Cozy Eras.

So I leaned in with the boarder because I love spooky things. Just a cute little possessed sheep.

I finally started my first coloring page! 🩷
I’ve been putting alot of pressure on it and over thinking it which has been leading to me being anxious about it. But this is supposed to be a fun stress free hobby!! I won’t let my brain ruin it for me.
I got my markers in today (shuttle art alcohol markers) so I made myself choose something and go for it. I don’t have to add all the extra patterns and detail. It’s okay., It’s my first one! It doesn’t have to be a perfect masterpiece and it won’t be! 🫠😂 it’s in the trust the process phase but I can’t wait to finish it!🙌🏻
So happy to finally be excited about a hobby again! It’s been a while.

I love how the mangoes turned out. I believe the shapes may have been leaves, but they look more like mangoes to me! I only have a limited selection of alcohol markers, the last photo is of test blends.

Now I just need to color the background. I think a shade of blue would be best, but which one?

It seems i always mess up my color palettes, i like my fairies a lot but the rest of the page doesn’t seem to blend well together, how do i get a cohisive palette?

as a person who loves to pick up every single hobby, but is also really impatient, finishing a page is super hard😭 but I used to do a lot of art and I wanted to bring that back into my life in a form that is less pressure! <3

a few of my recent pages from autumn whimsy by miss kitsch. kept seeing a lot of love for her books from colouring youtube creators and figured i would break out of my coco wyo bubble! it's a really simple style but I am loving it so far :)
