Went to Lowe’s yesterday and there were literally mice running through the aisles and mouse droppings all over the place. Not talking about seeing one random mouse in a warehouse multiple mice and droppings everywhere. In the middle of the day
Has anyone else seen this at Lowe’s? I know it’s a huge warehouse type store, but this seemed way beyond normal. All the employees were just like we know it’s disgusting.

Hi all,
I’m a medical provider and in my practice, if a patient has significant medical test results, I call. My daughter recently had a positive reportable disease test (such that the health department called us for contact tracing) and I was shocked because I was not aware from our pediatrician. The pediatrician had nurse call saying that she was positive for bacteria but did not tell me the specific type or that it had public health implications. The nurse didn’t know enough to be able to answer my questions at the time. This isn’t sitting well with me. Anyone have experience with a pediatrician locally that actually calls (or has someone knowledgeable call) with important test results?
Thank you

We've had a car on our street parked for around 1.5 years in the same spot and hasn't once been moved. The tags are current, so I feel bad about calling it in, but the tires are starting to go flat and it looks like it's on it's last legs.
What's the process for reporting it? Would you report it?

My neighborhood trash collecting service with waste management have stopped and it hasn’t been picked up for several days.
Called HOA and they’re telling me to call WM to have this sorted out. I left them a call to complain but it has been a few days already.
In fact everyone’s trash is outside and not getting picked up.
So is there a local dumpster yard where I can go and drop off my trash and recycling off?
Edit
I mean trash, not trans. Sorry

Streetsmart is making me retake the entire thing, all 30 hours of class and the behind the wheel because I didn't finish the last two BTW. Has anyone else experienced this and found who to talk to around it? Or is there another number to contact, my account shows i've already taken this class and passed it but they told me they've gotten rid of my records by now and I have to redo it.
Any help would be appreciate, i've called the main office but it's always the same lady

I swear they used to give these out but I went and they said they've never seen one in their lives. Am I tripping?

Since the Elkridge/Columbia Costco gas station reopened after expansion, regular gas has been basically the same price as surrounding stations, and occasionally I’ve even seen non-Costco stations cheaper.
For years I was used to Costco being ~20–40¢/gal cheaper locally, which was a meaningful part of the value of the membership. Right now that gap seems to have almost completely disappeared.
Anyone else noticed this since they reopened? Anyone hear any inside info explaining why?Temporary post-renovation/supply thing, weird local pricing, or something else?

We are currently stuck in a traffic jam inside the parking garage with the upper level closed, have probably been for the last 10-15 minutes. We decided it wasn’t worth it and can’t even get out. It’s actually a suburban nightmare… no one is directing traffic. We are all just left to fend for ourselves…
DON’T GO unless you like post-concert-level traffic jams while trying to get your weekly groceries.

Just moved to Long Reach. Not a parent. Saw kids playing outside. One kid was so young, 2 years old at MOST riding a tricycle with no helmet on. His friend came running down the hill trying to "stop" him and ended up pushing the kid over instead. The parent finally appeared a good minute after witnessing this. Do kids not wear helmets around here?! I've seen kids on bikes, e scooters, no helmets. Don't get me wrong, I was a 11 year old leaving my house with a helmet and taking it off once out of sight. But a 2 year old?! I don't want to be "one of those neighbors" but this is a real safety issue the way cars fly around! Is there anything we can do to encourage our neighbors to ensure their kids are riding more safely?

Hi, I was curious to know if anyone knew of any information on these two specific areas because I’m looking at condos on these specific streets. I’m not that familiar with the Columbia area outside of the mall. Is it clean, safe and would you say Columbia is perhaps a boring suburb to reside in?

I will go anywhere within 3 hours of Ellicott City. I'm getting married in 2 weeks and the original tailor brushed off my concerns about weird looking boning. I've been trying to get over it but now I'm having a breakdown and need to fix it. Thank you for any suggestions.

Hey everyone. I’m newer to the Columbia area and I’m trying to expand my friend base. I love fantasy football so thought it would be cool to start a local league and maybe watch some games at local spots together some weekends.
I’m open to free or paid, whichever more people are comfortable with.
Quick Details:
•    League: 10 or 12-Team Redraft, PPR, on Sleeper
•   Buy-in: Free or $20
•    Draft: September 6th
I would setup a league group chat for us as well. If you are local, looking to make friends, and love fantasy football, leave a comment or DM me so I can get you added to the league.

I've had lots of recommendations for Korean BBQ but have to try it. This is nearby - any good?

Been going to Columbia family dentistry and starting to feel like they’re always trying to upcharge me and friends for things we don’t need. Anyone trusted?

For those who play Pokemon Go, what areas do you recommend? I've generally been going to Lake Elkhorn or Columbia mall. So far, I've been liking Columbia mall the best because if there is a raid going on there's usually a few amount of people joining while Lake Elkhorn is good for just a pure walk. I'm curious to hear if there are other areas to go to.

Hello! I’m looking for recommendations for home cleaning services. I’ve been using a crew for about 2 years now but I’m not as happy with the results. I’d like a company that is thorough with their cleaning and not just surface cleaning each time. I understand deeper cleanings cost-more but would love to have a company that will incorporate that every now and again. Let’s say I’m OCD with my cleaning because I get allergies easily if things aren’t as clean and have respiratory issues. I’d love a company that takes that into consideration.
Does anyone have any good recommendations?
Thanks!

What are we doing to stop this? Any groups or organization happening to combat this bullshit?

That didn't last long. I was at the mall at noon and they were removing all the signs. By 1:30pm, every sign was gone and all the "premium" spots were full.

Hi all,
I was recently diagnosed with having CVI (chronic venous insufficiency). I've already seen Dr. Zhou at Vascular Surgery Associates in EC and Dr. Saraf at the Vein Treatment Clinic in Maple Lawn. I'm looking for a 3rd opinion and one with a vascular doctor that focuses more on the medical side (not cosmetic) of this condition and how my pain can be relieved. I am freaking miserable! It seems some of these vein treatment clinics just want your money. It feels scammy. Thanks for any suggestions.
