Good scripting method?
New to comics, though I have a degree in illustration so I have the art skill (need practice with panel layout and whatnot but I shall do that) I took an intro to sequential art class a couple years ago, but scripting wasn’t really a part of that class, when writing a volume of a comic, would this maybe be a good method to follow? I’m a solid writing for more novel/essay formats, but new to comic scripts. I understand the general template to follow for the final script, it’s just the ideation and planning leading up to that that I’m trying to nail down.

There are many different ways to do things, and I would say it also depends on how you want to release your story. For me, I do something similar to what you've done, but I keep in mind that I want to be able to write several issues into an arc that could be collected as a graphic novel, as well as tell an entire story.
I would suggest writing each issue/chapter out in its entirety (panel and dialogue) and then going back and splitting it into pages - keep track of how busy a page might be (a page with lots of action should have fewer panels than a page with more dialogue), and track how much dialogue you have as well (action panels shouldn't have lots, think about how long it takes for them to do the action and how long to say the words). There are general suggestions out there about how many words you should do per balloon/panel/page, but the more you write, the more you'll get the feel for it.
Hope this helps :)
