I’m 32, probably started watching when i was like 12. And i’ve seen like 4 seasons of decent football from this dumb team. I’ve probably made at least 40 total trips to fedex via that metro stop. Including last year vs seattle when the game was already over by the end of the 1st quarter lol.
If its another bad season man i don’t even know anymore. I’m just wasting my sundays now. Please don’t be complete fucking ass. Is it really that hard to just not be completely fucking ass for 20+ years straight with like one bright spot in between?? Like is it? I don’t fucking know. Just win some games. Just do it. I don’t give a fuck about the injuries. This must be the most injured franchise of any sport to ever exist with how every single season is “crippled” by injuries. Fuck

2005, 2012, 2015 and 2024 are the only times I remember us looking vaguely competent. I get that doomerism can look annoying for some fans, but this team has been so bad for so long. One good season has never been enough to give us hope because we’ve shit the bed immediately afterwards, and never learned how to build on one season’s success.

Welp every media outlet in the world has us at 4th place in the NFC east…. This is either going to be the Hall of Fame argument for Jayden Daniels or more regular scheduled programming of the ever irrelevant Washington Commanders….

After attending a packed town meeting, this time a week ago I had a mild scratch in my throat. Two days later it felt like my throat was loaded up with shards of hot glass.
A ton of tea with honey, salt water gargling, warm broths, and lots of daytime/nighttime cold medicines later, I began coming out of a chest cold yesterday.
Now look it's been established that viral infection doesn't care about what time of year it goes around, but when shit like this happens during a month long triple digit heat wave it's time for society to drop the cold from cold and flu and replace it with, some dope didn't stay home when they had symptoms of viral upper respiratory infection and now you're stuck with their shitty judgement.

Clearing all that all out is a whole other ordeal.
But look us, working with trainers and projected to be in shape for opening day!

Nasal saline washes and hot showers have been my friend
Just a little adversity, those Sunday beers are going to be even more rewarding after every swallow felt like swallowing thumbtacks recently

I think there is a difference between doomers and critical thinkers, but they are getting lumped together. A doomer is going to predict the worst no matter what. A critical thinker is going to see whats in front of them and make a prediction based on that.
Seeing this roster and schedule and predicting a < 7 win season doesnt make one a doomer.

Fair point, but it goes both ways. Predicting 9+ wins doesn't make one a homer.

I should have taken /u/Garp74 advice, but Capital One told me to book later. Then the flight prices to London rose from 750 or so to 850, and then plus a reasonable round trip flight back, it was about 1000 dollars round trip to London. Obscene.
Well at least all my travel is now booked for the Oct 4 game.
