Question Shield disabling
How do people learn to shield disable in SMP so fast. I know about attribute swapping but is it predicting or just reacting to the shield and what’s the best way to train. Thanks.

You need to do both. When you play enough you’ll start to develop a sense when they put their shield up and preemptively disable it assuming you don’t mess up the timing

just macro for shield disable. One button to switch to ur axe, click, and switch back

its not that op compared to smth like breach swap macro
edit: to OP, in order to shield disable quickly, you switch to your axe and click at the same time, then switch back to your sword

brother😭😭macros are basically not really good for official fights bro..basically from my experience just practice a lot eventually you will be bad but then later you will learn to predict when the opponent shields...practice makes everyone perfect

why macros are good: if you use it when their shield isnt up, you dont do zero damage

You don't get the kb enchantment from sword, has a slightly longer cool down, and well, it's cheating

at the end of the day its the same damage as a regular hit just slower, blame mojang for making shields so busted

And no kb, so it's terrible, and cheating

Is simply not hitting the shield better?

You time it/predict it/react to the shield
And when u disable the shield you want to use your kb sword more often than not

Once you have shield disabling on a keyboard key, its mostly about prediction and learning when and when not to perform it

ive had the same question, and the answer ive come to is that its prediction + twitchy fingers that just kinda spam axe every once in a while
