Price predictions

I hate asking this question cause no one knows the answer, but is this ever going to see over $100 again. It just seems we cant ever stay in the $20s let alone break into the $30s. Comp is my biggest bag I hold but not my only bag but it has the least gains. A lot of my comp holding have gone into long term holdings. My average is $34 it would be nice to atleast stay above that for a change instead of in the red for the past year. Just seems like everything I touch is shit.

I'll say this. In crypto, every time I start to doubt myself and sell at a loss, I end up regretting it big time later. Impatience in 2019 with Bitcoin and Ethereum is the only reason I am not a millionaire today. No idea if we will see $100 or more again with comp, but there are few good catalysts in the pipeline, including the clarity act vote coming up (hopefully).

The DAO is laying the infrastructure groundwork for a major push into traditional financing and institutional money with V4. It has a very good reputation for security, which goes a long way to convincing banks and institutions to invest. If they land even 1 somewhat high profile account, it will be extremely bullish. The full roll out will be next year, but I know they have already begun the process to move from V3 to V4.

Comp is one of the OG's of defi, and they have a reputation of expanding very conservatively compared to Aave, which kneecapped their growth, but also shows how cautious they are. This fact is appealing to institutions, and there is very limited competition in that area since Aave already tried and failed there.

Comp is now fully distributed, so the total 10 million token supply is in circulation and the price is no longer diluted. As long as the remaining whales stay put, the shorts will just cannibalize each other, which is fine with me.

Sorry, it appears I am writing a book here lol... Ultimately up to you if you want to sell or not. I'm not going anywhere though.

No youre good on your long explanation. Im definitely not selling for a loss. I only been in crypto since 2021. I got in when everyone was talking up doge coin. So i put 5000 in and that 5000 went to 12000 well they kept saying it was going to go to a dollar, it never did. So i held till December 2023 and doge went up some and i sold my bag that had over 800,000 doge. Had I held till election night that would have been over $400,000. Thats why I dont want to do that again especially with my comp going to long term holdings. Im hoping we see over $100 again.

So I'm kind of in you shoes. I wouldnt have had a million but it would have been a nice chunk.

I remember that! It was another missed opportunity for me as well. I had no extra money to invest in it at that time, but I told someone I thought it was about to pop about 3 months before it did.

Unfortunately I have to wait until January before most of my comp gets cap gains, but some of it already qualifies. I hope franknbeanz is right because that would work out perfectly.

Yeah I'm with you on that. It sucked that would have been life changing money.

Do you have a price point which you would like to see on comp? Or a price you would sell at? Id be happy at $140 but $160 would be even better.

Looking back it looks like it went from about 40 to a little over 140 back in 2024 in a months time.

As it currently stands, I think the absolute maximum is $250 without a Hail Mary. I would sell or hold based on how it reacts when the rest of the altcoin market is moving. Personally, I would be happy with a $100 price point, but I would continue holding as long as it's not hitting resistance then.

Even though there was a recent boost, I would hope that is only the beginning of a much longer rally extending through early next year. I don't think it will be a straight shot upward though. At this point, we just need more trading volume.

See its days like these that get me pissed comp is down the most on my holdings. Down 7% while my other holding down 2% all while the other holding had higher gains during the past week too. Was up $30,000 for the week now only up 12k. Can never just stay up.

I know, am equally annoyed. Doesn't make much sense does it? I would really hope people aren't selling at these levels. It could also be aggressive shorting. I saw a few bots post short signals on Coinmarketcap right before it started going down yesterday. If that is the case, they have to cover at some point.

Because It's a certified shit coin with lawsuits hanging over it. I wouldn't listen to the bulls on here, I truly believe it's over for this token. Single digits this year, followed by delistment from RH & binance and then it will fade into dust.

The good news is those whales, humpy etc. will take the major d1ck, as they deserve.
