[Software] Advice needed
I’m currently working as an SDE at a service-based company and have 1+ year of experience. I’m applying for jobs for the past month, but I haven’t received a single interview call. I update my resume every morning and apply through Naukri, LinkedIn, and Foundit, but still haven’t received any calls.
Because of this, I’m considering pursuing a master’s degree related to electrical engineering or hardware, as I believe these fields may have less competition and could be less affected by AI-driven restructuring.
Since I have a bachelor’s degree in CSE, what hardware-related fields would be suitable for me to pursue a master’s degree in?
Don't troll me guys, plz give advice or suggestions on what to do next

To be honest hiring in most fields is also quite affected by ai maybe aside from pure analog roles which may require more than a MS.
Answering your question
embedded/firmware is probably most adjacent to swe and verification jobs are probably most in abundance (with everyone pushing ai slop lol). Try to find an online msee/msece program that’s good and do it while you gain work experience in swe ideally. Pick some classes that interest you as well and do your own research
