Red Hood Helmet mounting/securing
A while back, I bought and sent a 3D model to my brother that he was kind enough to print for me for a Red Hood helmet. I got very excited when he shipped it to me and immediately set to work on painting it.
It’s since just been a bit of a show piece on a shelf, but after attending FanExpo this year, I’ve decided I’d like to turn it into a full cosplay and have found and will be going through some experimenting with guides and tutorials to make the armour with EVA foam.
That said, I’m having trouble finding good guidance on how to comfortably and reliably work the inside of this helmet to be secure on my head. I need to redo the magnets for the back piece but could really use some recos on having it sit well on my head.
Thanks in advance for any help! This will be my (possibly over reaching) first cosplay making attempt. But I have a whole year so… fingers crossed?

cosplay is uncomfortable as is, but id recommend drilling some holes so you dont die inside there trying to breathe or sweating

Very fair. There’s a bit of space in it and I was thinking about some small battery powered fans as well. Thanks!
