Anyone else’s cresties bite you all the time? So much of the time that you wear gloves to stop from jumping?….. is this normal?

It is pretty full but I feel like something at the top in the front is missing. I don't want to over do it but just wanna add that one last thing that will make it amazing for my gecko and me to look at

I found two cresties that are being rehomed (diff people) and I can’t decided which one I want!! The first is male the second is female. I really wanted a female but I love the coloring on the male

Tail question

So I’ve been thinking about my geckos tail a lot recently and I’m wondering can some cresties just have kinky tails since birthday or have kinky tails without health issues? Mine has had some kinks since the day I got her, the first 4 photos are current and the last 4 are from the first day to the 4th month of owning. It’s looked the same/ gotten better, I got her at 2 months old and now is currently 8 and a half months. Is this to be concerned or normal or a concern when she gets bigger and heavier ?

am i paranoid

Hello! My crestie is less than a year old. He looks a little bit paler than usual. Everything i’ve read says to check for sunken eyes but i can’t even tell? He looks almost the same as when i got him but im still worried. I will go to vet if absolutely needed but trying to avoid any unnecessary cost as i am moving soon so money is tight. He is still eating and climbing. I usually handle him at night. Any tips?

Super disappointed to find out Exo Terra discontinued their original terrariums. Has anyone used a Zoo Med skyscraper? I am unfamiliar with the quality.

Spent $140 at the vet only to find out he was just being picky about his food 🥲

My crested gecko Gatsby stopped eating a few weeks ago and I freaked out a bit. He had some mold in his old tank so I was convinced it made him sick. I took him to the vet and we started on antibiotics. Poor thing had to get fed antibiotics every day for a week and assist fed with his gecko diet. He despised every minute of it.

After a while went by and he showed no signs of eating on his own, I was going to take him back to the vet when I remembered my vet mentioned trying a different food brand. I said what the heck and bought it and within one hour of the new food being out he ate half of it. So I threw away all his old food (repashy) and have replaced it with his new food (Pangea) and all is well! Rip my money tho

Azalea tree wood for enclosure

Post image

hello, I got some branches from an azalea tree that was cut last week. Google is giving me mixed answers I want to know if this is safe for my crested gecko enclosure. it says it’s the same that spiderwood is made from but some say it’s poisonous to humans and reptiles and dogs and cats. I planned to remove the bark sand it and sanitize it but i’m paranoid about it being dangerous

What’s your favorite type of gecko and why?

I’m especially interested in crested, gargoyle, and leopard geckos. What do you like most about yours—personality, looks, handling, or something else?

Drop a pic of your gecko too! 👇🦎

But seriously, does anyone else have crazy friendly crested geckos? We went with choice-based handling and this guy didn't want anything to do with us for the first year.

And now I can't change his food dish without my wife watching because as soon as the front door is opened, he'll run out and launch himself at whoever's around because he likes being out so much. Not at all what I was expecting from my pre-ownership research.

She is a very laid back lady, usually she's right as rain after a few hours of re-mapping her home.
