LANTERNS Episode 3 Breakdown | John Stewart’s Origin Changes EVERYTHING
Today I’m breaking down LANTERNS Season 1 Episode 3, “OutKast,” one of the most important John Stewart episodes yet. We finally learn the truth about John’s childhood, why his parents raised him to never show fear, how race and Black exceptionalism shaped the man he became, and why his journey to becoming Green Lantern started LONG before Hal Jordan ever became his mentor.

I saw the film Warner Bros DIDN’T WANT ME TO SEE…
Hello, my name is Douglas Campbell, I review movies and occasionally TV on YouTube. As a lifelong Looney Tunes fan, I was heartbroken when Warner Bros announced they were gonna shelve Coyote vs ACME. The concept sounded too good just to lock in a vault for all eternity. Thankfully Ketchup Entertainment stepped in to save this, because even if CVA ended up bad I think it at least deserved its time in the sun. The final product wasn’t everything I wanted this film to be, but me and my wife (who isn’t as much a Looney Tunes fan) had such a blast!!!
If you are interested my latest video is here:

If you’d like to check out my channel in general, the link is here: https://youtube.com/@wearefilmstash?si=Bd_-j6KGq-N3kNwW
If you guys do check it out, I want to know what you guys thought of the animation. I legitimately wasn’t that crazy with the animation style chosen for CVA. My wife surprisingly thought it looked good. I showed her a clip from Looney Tunes: Back in Action for a comparison and she still thought the newer film’s animation looked better. Am I crazy?

Favorites of the year so far?
Greetings, everyone!
Per the new mod's suggestion, I thought I'd toss a question out there to foster some discussion here. What are some of your favorite movies of the year thus far? What are you most looking forward to seeing in the remaining months of 2026?

Beast Race (2026), thoughts?
The worst film I’ve watched of 2026. I so wanted it to be good - so many elements that were green flags but alas. The real question is this: is Rodrigo Santoro bankrupt because why is he in it? Usually he’s a barometer of a good film or at least worth watching. It’s bad good…the post apocalyptic theme adds zero to the story and is irrelevant, for example. Superficial characters. Etc etc...(Beast Race/Corrida Dos Bichos, 2026)

Argylle movie review
Honestly, the trailer never sold it for me. I gave it a chance, and the story surprised me. None of the plot twists were as predictable as I thought they would be. The third act, however, got chaotic. 6 out of 10

Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma is a transgressive valentine to slashers
If any of you saw this movie yet, please let me know and chime in. I can't stop thinking about this one! I'll likely catch a second showing of it at some point.
