My first crossbow

Technically second if you count my little Bear X Desire, but i recently picked up a Reverse Ballista Bat and a bunch of extra gear for $300. Dude was moving to Alaska and didn’t want to bring it with. It’s got a ton of punch with surprisingly little kick to it. Pretty stoked to take on small and medium game with it.

You might need to evaluate either you shafts or your points...

For small game vs medium game.

Depending on the speed it's launching Grains of shaft/head

...

But dang. ...

I think if you get the scope and shafts, dialed in, to a tight zero and grouping...

One benefit to a scoped, hi speed, hvy weight Xbow, Is that you unlock longer range shots vs smaller targets. Uo close, it can potentially be overkill, but that higher speed and accuracy can extend you beyond archery range, where the bow might struggle to sustain its trajectory...

Honestly for small game it’s probably too much. My little Bear is a bit more suited for it. It’s got 150 lb limbs on it, so at 20-30 yrds it can punch through a boar or deer no problem.
