I’ve been rewatching FMAB and everything was fine until recently. Subs just started covering the entire screen. Thought maybe it was an issue with just this episode and went back and forwards and still same thing.

I feel like I'm probably not alone in this, but the new store is garbage. They got rid of all the manga and then they put the store by him to paywall so people who aren't members can't buy. They think that they're so exclusive they can charge people a membership just to shop. Even though nothing they have is worth a membership, you can get everything they have somewhere else. The only reason I was even paying for the highest membership was for the 15% discount on the 7 to 8 manga I was buying every month. And the occasional figure every once in awhile. But now they got rid of the manga. And now it looks like they're focusing on dropping new apparel, which is incredibly stupid.

I honestly don't know what they were thinking. It seems like they got rid of a bunch of stuff. I get it. Maybe they get rid of stuff cuz it wasn't selling but it just seems dumb. They really gave a lot of people a reason to either downgrade their membership or just stop using crunchyroll all together. I guess it does make sense why they got rid of manga after all though. That's a physical thing and Sony owns Crunchyroll and Sony doesn't want you to own anything. I'm surprised they still sell blu-rays and DVDs on the store. I'd be willing to bet that shit's going away soon too because Sony doesn't want discs anymore. No physical media according to Sony.

Tmobile is giving out 90 days of free fan crunchyroll membership and it says it works for existing members, does anyone know how to use it? I canceled my membership (though its still active through september) and I'm unsure how to activate it

I just loaded up the crunchyroll mobile and app im seeing black borders around the subtitled and now look like absolute garbage. Is this happening for anyone else or might this be a local problem

I dont know if anyone else has been having this problem but for the past 2/3 weeks my crunchyroll has become completely unusable because of the amount of pausing its doing itself. I can't go ONE second without it automatically pausing and unpausing itself no matter what show/movie im watching, even if the quality is at the lowest. I've tried uninstalling the app, checking for updates, clearing the cache, using mobile data/swapping to stronger wifi, restarting my phone, and in the time that it's done this I've even gotten a new phone for unrelated reasons and it still wont stop. Autoplay is off, Bluetooth is off & i cleared the history. I've run out of ideas on what could be the issue, my internet hasn't changed at all since it started and has worked in the past, if anyone has any ideas they'd be greatly appreciated!!!

Quick post regarding using a VPN with Crunchyroll. I live in Spain, and unfortunately, the English dub for One Piece isn't available in my region—we only have the Japanese audio with local subtitles.

To be completely honest, I just find reading subtitles super tiring after a long day, and I understand English perfectly fine. I really want to just sit back, relax, and watch the show with the English dub by connecting to a US server.

Just to be 100% clear: I am NOT trying to bypass regional pricing or get a cheaper subscription. I already have an active, fully paid account in Spain and I'm happy paying my regular rate. My only goal is to access the English audio track for One Piece so I don't have to glue my eyes to the screen reading subs.

I just wanted to ask: Is this actually doable without running into any issues? Does Crunchyroll allow this smoothly, or will I hit VPN blocks or account trouble?

If anyone else from Europe is currently doing this to access English dubs, I’d love to hear how it’s working for you.

I recently reactivated my subscription to Crunchyroll. When I had originally had it, any time I wanted to watch any anime, subtitles would show up, specifically in dub. As blasphemous as it is, I need subtitles even with dub because I suck at keeping up with what’s happening. I tried to watch COTE with dub and sub, but when I clicked on the option, no words appeared. The setting said it was on, but nothing appeared. I then switched it to purely sub and the subtitles were there. I did some searching and tried many of the troubleshooting methods, and none have worked. This is only so strange because, before I could watch anything with both settings equipped and it would be fine. It’s also weird that both settings actually work when I watch Solo Leveling. That is the only one I have found so far that works.

Am I just missing a setting or stipulation?

The only way I was able to open an issue ticket was through their website and finding that page was super hard. That was back on Friday. After I sent proof of my membership and email confirmation, I never heard back from their support team. I do autopay monthly subscription and has been a subscriber for years now. I'm so upset and I don't know how to reinstate my account.

I use the Crunchyroll app on my fire TV. Starting today I have had an issue where I can no longer use the directional pad on my remote to scan through an episode. The fast-forward and rewind buttons still work if I want to do blind 10 seconds at a time, but I can’t scan through the episode. When I hit the D pad, the images all pop up as if I could scan through the episode, but the left and right buttons don’t actually move what I’ve selected. Hopefully that makes sense. I have tried clearing the data. I have tried clearing the cache. I have tried pausing the scene, and hitting down, and then left and right, but that doesn’t help. I’ve unplugged my TV, unplugged it back in. And nothing seems to work. Is anyone else having similar issues? Suggestions?

I purchased a Marin Kitagawa figure in early January for preorder. It was scheduled to ship out by the end of July this year, but it hasn’t shipped out and the status still shows as pending. I am wondering if anyone else has preordered a figure around that time and is experiencing the same issue? I have tried to check the website to see if there’s an update, but unfortunately I have no access to the website since I’m now living abroad in Japan and the website is blocked.

I ordered a couple other figures for preorder some years ago and I’m not sure if they still have the page available to check the status of preorder figures, do they still have the page available? I wanted to ask here before I bother my sibling again to check the website. Thanks for any help!

can somebody please tell me how to fully delete a Crunchyroll account? I have tried and tried to delete the very first account I ever made that I do not have the email to, yet it keeps refusing to let me stay out of that account. I have a new account with an email I use and I’m trying to start a new subscription on the new account, but it keeps signing me back into the old account and restarting that subscription. Can somebody please tell me how I can get this to stop so I can actually watch my shows.

Me and my gf are long distance and bought premium just to SharePlay and watch together but every time we try it only plays for one of us anytime we unpause does someone know how to fix it please or if there even is a way to fix it?

I am watching Toilet bound Hanako season 2 on my Fire TV and all the sudden there’s an ai description of what’s happening on the screen. My accessibility settings on both my TV and on the Crunchyroll app are not turned on so I’m confused why it’s giving me audio description.
Then when I try to watch it on the app on my phone there’s no audio on any show. I switched to YouTube to see if there was something wrong on my phones end and it seems to be only crunchy roll that isn’t playing audio.

is anyone elses subtitles not working?? im watching on my samsung tv with the crunchyroll app. i went back to an episode i watched last night to make sure it wasnt just this episode but my subtitles have disappeared. i have them enabled in my account settings and theyre enabled for the episode im trying to watch. ive updated my tv and app... what do i do to fix this???? ive tried turning the wifi on and off, soft restarting the tv, logging in and out of cr... im desperate i cannot hear without my subtitles

Back in January, I ordered the Dragon Ball Daima Limited Edition blu-ray for my birthday. This was almost six months before the store shifted into a subscription-based model, and I waited for these months while Crunchyroll refused to give updates on why the blu-ray was being delayed and for how long, or if it was evening still releasing.

After their reannouncement and release date of August 11th, I waited weeks for them to ship it. They did not, and as I saw my Wal-Mart get stocked with the standard blu-rays and listings for the LE for LESS than it was on Crunchyroll, I decided to refund my order.

Except, Crunchyroll refused ANY alterations with the order, because I was "not subscribed to their service," despite me having made the order months before the model change was even announced, let alone released. I could not refund the order, and I could not change my payment information. My order was held hostage and forced upon me after months of silent delays.

I find the new store insulting enough. The fact that they are now charging to shop at a store that has had almost its entire stock of DVD and blu-rays removed is disgusting enough, and not a surprising move from Sony, the king of all-digital "you'll own nothing and pay for it anyway." This, however, was one of the most baffling and disrespectful overreaches of a corporation I have EVER dealt with. Crunchyroll, as well as Sony, will never see a single cent from me again.

As a small side note, I am an avid Dragon Ball physical media collector, and it breaks my heart that we may not get physical releases for the anime again.

i don’t share my account with anyone, and it’s only logged in on my phone and my TV, so i know i haven’t been hacked either. this has been going on for MONTHS. my subscription is also up to date.

Has anyone else gotten these messages about account? I am still current and have not lapsed payment, and when I click the button it takes me to apple sign in, I have zero dealings with apple, my payment is handled thru Google play

I've been trying to fix the auto description issue but it keeps auto playing. I've reset my device, logged in and out of crunchyroll and it won't fix. The auto description is off but it keeps playing over. I'm currently trying to watch Toilet Bound Hanako-Kun2 but the auto description keeps ruining the sad scenes. Anyone know how to fix this on a tablet 🥲?
