Csection constipation 4 weeks pp
Does digestion ever return to normal after a csection? I'm 4 weeks postpartum and it feels like things are slowing down and not as regular as before csection.

I'm 15 weeks pp and have pretty normal poos, with the exception of once or twice a week, I have crazy abdominal pain with bowel movements.

I had to use restorlax until almost 8 weeks. Then I didn’t need it anymore.
I think the pain relievers contribute to the constipation

I took a stool softener for several weeks. Even after my prescription ran out. In the US, I used colace. I was trying to drink enough water, but especially breastfeeding it took a while to be normal again. I was also afraid of pushing too hard w my stitches. It gets better. I’m almost 9 months pp now and haven’t thought about it in a long time. Best of luck to you.

I’m 8 months PP and I’d say I felt regular again after 5-6 months. It was rough.
