Other Nike wouldn't make Cortez mules, so I had to do it myself
I cut off the backs of my classic Nike Cortez to make these mules. What do you think of the result?

My little girl is starting softball this fall. So of course she needed some custom glitter cleats

Game cleats for my son’s final season of youth football. Was going for a “craft stamped” look for the lettering on the sides and toe. Sorta worked, sorta didn’t. First pair fully using KixKote and fully brushed, no airbrush involved (as I don’t own one lol). Overall happy with the way the paint performed with two relatively minor frustrations: one- the bubbles. If forgot to smooth them out they dried into imperfections that, if these were for anyone other than my 12 year old I would’ve been aggravated. And two- the separation of the paint mixes. Not just custom mixes on the palette but even a couple factory colors separated way too quickly and easily. Kinda frustrating and time consuming to have to shake constantly which led to more air bubbles. All in all it performed great and since I already apply super thin coats it didn’t take more than Angelus. Looking forward to the stress test tomorrow with game one! Cheers all!

Ive come across a few accounts on instagram selling dye for outsoles. Was curious if anyone here has found any dyes that actually work for outsoles.

I’d really like to pick these up, but I’m not a big fan of the black crackle leather. Is there anything that can be done to change that texture?
Personally, I’m thinking maybe sanding. Last resort would be like an acetone.

Hi all,
I’m finally getting around to modifying those Torsions I posted about earlier. I’m rubbing the decal with Angelus Leather Preparer and it worked well! However there are these bits of decal left. How do I get rid of them so I can move on?
Thanks!

First pair done with KixKote. Also the first time using an airbrush. Definitely took some time learning the little intricacies of both the paint and airbrush. Happy with the way they turned out though.

Hey everyone!
Just finished this pair inspired by Egyptian mythology and the goddess Bastet.
Base: Puma Caven 2.0 Mid
Technique: Hand-painted with leather acrylics (brush + airbrush for smooth gradients), prepped with deglazer and finished with a protective top coat.
Details: Hyeroglyphs background, Ankh symbol on the back tabs, and custom-painted hangtag.
What do you think of the color contrast between the two sides? Feedback is welcome!

I just did my first repaint of a shoe and i finished it with a liquid kicks finisher. I initially thought that after you apply finisher then the paint job is protected against standard moisture, but when I dab it with a damp wet wipe or cloth, paint comes off onto it? Have i not done something correctly?

La peinture sur "air" de la semelle ne tient pas bien, notamment du côté vert 🤔 vous auriez des conseils?

Looking for some advice!
I’m trying to get a custom logo for some air max 90s the logo is 1” wide by .5” tall and most vinyl transfers don’t go that small.
Any website you would recommend to get a logo this size?

Been wanting to get into customizing sneakers I can buy off depop. Bought these Nike P6000s but didn’t like the red accents. Thought I’td be a good starter project to just change the red rubber to black. Did a good amount of research and ended up buying Angelus leather dye and deglazer.
I feel like I did everything right, taped it off, sanded down the smooth texture, and then used deglazer . What went wrong was that I didn’t realize the painters tape doesn’t do shit 🤦🏽♀️ and that the dauber holds a lot of ink. When I pressed the dauber to the rubber it immediately when every and under the tape.
I’m contemplating if it’s worth buying more products to turn the dyed sections back to white or if I should just take the L and dye the entire sole black. I’ve already spent money on the dye, deglazer and new quick laces (to get rid of the red accents). I was hella excited to rock them 😫
I saw that Angelus has product that can turn soles back to white like white white but I gotta do more research on that. If I buy the product then I guess I would have it on me for when my other shoes start turning yellow/dirty. I’m kinda just seeking direction and or affirmations rn lol

One of my good friends asked me to make him a pair centered around Articuno. Only direction was basically to include a) the character and b) Pokedex #144. Really excited with how these ones came out, especially the energy type pattern on the lace panels. Also designed and 3D printed some Master Ball lace charms for fun!

Double sided tape to hold a leather temporarily before sewing? I dont want to use a glue. I saw this one guy sewing a reverse swoosh on AJ1 and he uses a double sided tape to hold it in place before sewing. Anyone knows whats the brand of it?
