DISCUSSION What do you think can make the DCU more successful?

Don’t get me wrong, it’s already doing great, especially with the recent addition of Lanterns which a lot of people love. I’m just asking though, what could make the DCU even more successful, in your opinion?

DISCUSSION Did Hot Ones potentially spoil Jon’s ring?

In the new Hot Ones episode with Aaron Pierre and Kyle Chandler, there’s a cut too this ring.

Has this ring in particular ever been seen anywhere? If so, ignore me, but if not… Mr. Stewart’s potential ring perchance?

The circle could also work as the plot for Wonder Woman’s first movie in the DCU but I’m putting it here.

With how stewart was groomed to be a green lantern since he was a child and Michael Holt being a genius inventor and part of the same team gardener is, their dynamic could be really cool?

DISCUSSION Movie series Crossovers

I'm currently watching Arrow and I really like how they set us the introduction of Flash and subsequent Legends of tomorrow cast. From season 2 of Arrow News casters were broadcasting news of the particle accelerator in central city and I might just be in my feelings but I hope we can see more of this in other DC projects like Lanterns or other projects

APPRECIATION That's a small detail but I really loved Batman's dialogue and punchlines in ZSJL. It was spot on, especially his sense of humor.

DISCUSSION The contingency for Flash makes Batman the villain, not a scenario where Flash is!

In the movie where JLA gets attacked by their weaknesses and we find out it was stolen from Batman, the Flash is captured in a speed based bomb on his wrist by making him have to save a women from a bomb inside a box.

This makes no sense for any scenario where the Flash is the villain. why would he care to save a random human if he’s the villain? or would Batman put the life of his loved ones in danger with no guarantee Flash can or is willing to save them? what if he’s mind controlled?

The only scenario where it would work is if Batman is the villain. Throws the argument for the contingencies straight out the window.

DISCUSSION Can You Imagine how different DC Movies would be if Green Lantern First Flight was the Green Lantern Live Action Movie we got instead of Green Lantern 2011

It's no secret that Green Lantern was supposed to be the start of DC's Superhero Universe and it's failure set them back some and had to change their strategy a bit which in itself caused problems

Now imagine it a Live Action version of First Flight, Yeah we still might have the Jankie CGI but that's something that can be fixed later.

First Flight had a very good story in my opinion, it gave us the GL mythos, we had good Hal and Sinestro moments and the battles and actions sequences were amazing

Now I understand doing something's in animation is way easier to do than Live Action but if we had something more like First Flight then 2011 I honestly think we could've had a better start to the DCEU or whatever it was going to be called if GL succeeded

Those are just my thoughts

OTHER Robert Pattinson on Filming 'The Batman Part II': "I’m definitely feeling my age when fighting a lot. I’m like, 'Goddamn, this is significantly harder than it used to be.' But it’s really fun. And I think the movie’s going to be pretty great."

DISCUSSION If Lanterns gets a Season 2, is John's Mother gonna be the Villain?

So it's revealed in Episode 3 of Lanterns that they gave John Stewart Senior the backstory from Frank Laminski - who is The Phantom Lantern a Green Lantern Villain.

Frank was chosen before Hal Simon Baz but admitted he was too afraid, then spent the rest of his life as a bitter Alcoholic before he was then given The Phantom Lantern Ring. He wasn't noticed and underappreciated and after being saved by Hal dedicated his life to becoming physically and emotionally stronger and fearless while others were chosen.

While John's Dad has the backstory, the show showed us that his Mother was a Racist and jumped headfirst into abusing her Child (and her other ones in a different way) because the Aliens who bribed her told her John might one day be a GL maybe if he doesn't have fear.

That all connects for a simple backstory of her becoming the Villain of Season 2. Although depending on what happens for the rest of Season 1 would dictate where her Villain arc goes.

Logically, John Snr should die due to the Aliens and Hal being unable to save him - probably having to make a choice and doesn't choose John Snr. Which furthers her resentment towards Lanterns and she may become a Proto-Black Hand instead of a Phantom Lantern.

That being said, the way she's set up now, she could easily fit into a Phantom Lantern role

What do you guys think?
