I just listened to 12 hours or so of Sirius DMB... I finally started to sing.

Now we don’t know what to do.

I’ve officially become obsessed with this song. Live Trax 18 is the only album I know of that has the whole band playing it. I want more of this song. I FREAKING love it. I wish it was longer. It has so much potential. Pretty much came here to say this and ask if anyone knows the story behind this song? Where it came from? Why it’s only been played once or twice? Anyone else love it like I do?

So incredibly stoked! Me and my banjo player will be jamming in the campground. Come sing with us!

BUT Jake Simpson does not consistently play at every show with Lukas Nelson’s band. I know they have a concert on friday but he has a lot of passion for both DMB and Lukas Nelson.

I feel like it’s not crazy to say he could make an appearance at the gorge based on the way this tour has been going. Let me know what u guys think.

It’s our first time going and we aren’t staying on site. Have about an hour drive. How hard is it getting to the Gorge? Any advice? I need all the info!

I just went to the Mystic Lake show in MN last night (great show!) and came across Nugs to pre-order the recording.

Anyone know roughly how long they take to get the audio out?

I’ve never purchased DMB audio recordings like this but I’ve seen Nugs come up in this sub a lot.

Will they play it more or was it just a one off cover song?

I was in the pit for the first time last night in MN and although it was incredible to be that close, I was really disappointed by the acoustics. I couldn’t really hear Dave’s voice clearly and that was a huge bummer for me. Honestly will probably choose seats in the future for that reason.

Flying in from the Bay Area with friends for our first Labor Dave weekend at the Gorge. Been to the gorge once for dead and co in 2023 and thought I’d never be back . Grateful to be wrong . Admittedly I can’t identify many of dmb’s songs after the first few notes like many here but what are some of y’all wishlists and songs you’ve been chasing that I should know so that I can appreciate them and have them on my radar . This show marks DMB's first appearance at Mystic Lake Amphitheater, which opened in June of this year. Unfortunately inclement weather postponed the debut -- tonight's show was rescheduled from 6.23.26.

Alpine is my home venue, so had to travel this year if I wanted to get my annual show/s in. We could’ve picked anywhere closer but decided on Colorado for timing reasons. And I am SO glad we did! I added NINE new songs to my list this weekend, including my holy grail, Snow Outside! I missed it by one day in 2015 and then they proceeded not to play it for ten years. (Except just once in 2016). I was certain I’d missed my chance. I was so shocked when they actually played it. And two slots after Long Black Veil too?!

Night two I casually mentioned I wasn’t sure what I wanted to hear because night one gave me more than I ever expected, but Alligator Pie or Eh Hee would be cool. AND THEN THEY PROCEEDED TO PLAY BOTH OF THOSE TOO!!! I am still in awe over that. I loved the venue, I know some are meh about it but I thought it was great. The crowd was great too. First time ever I haven’t heard people just chatting away over the entire show, so that was amazing. What a freaking surreal time. So glad I had the privilege of being there!!

Coming all the way from Europe to see DMB at the Gorge for the first time. I'm beyond excited!

I'll be meeting a friend in Seattle, we'll rent a car and drive to the Gorge. We're camping at Wild Horse, but I'm definitely not an experienced camper - probably 2nd time in my life lol.
What do you recommend bringing, any advice on must-haves? I've read some guides like this one and a lot of posts, but I'd love some advice on what is absolutely essential and what is optional, especially around food and shelter (e.g. I hear a canopy is an absolute must, and I'll probably buy it when I land - weather seems ok, apart from Sunday).

It’s such an amazing album, perfectly capturing the vibe in that era of DMB. It’s a timepiece with some amazing tacks on it.

Hi! Flying out from the east coast in a couple of days for our second Gorge weekend! Starting to feel nervous about the forecast. Regular tent camping. Anyone have good tips for us? Keeping in mind we have to fly so packing space is somewhat limited. Planning a Walmart run when we land though. Thanks, see ya out there!!!

I haven’t seen them since 2019 and hours before the original date I splurged and bought a ticket. I was literally pulling into the parking lot when they announced the new date lol. Been listening to a ton of live shows since waiting for the show.

I was pretty active back in the day in the Warehouse forums and met a lot of great people because of this band. Looking forward to show #16 tomorrow! And checking out the new amphitheater!

Just curious….. it’s extremely hard to choose especially since every track on the album is breathtaking but i think my choices are Pig or Don’t Drink The Water. Or Spoon…. What is your choice??
