I've played through twice, and even though I know it's not the most popular game, as someone who doesn't have the attention span to get every single ending I truly enjoyed this video :) I got best case scenario on second try, best case with a dark twist first try. I still love turning people onto this game. ❣️ (No spoilers for the other games in comments please, still working my way through House of Ashes, Frank stone, and have not started devil yet)

it was a really weird experience, i was expecting the game to be much longer than it was given that the Devil in Me is like 8 hours long. The controls were really annoying to me as the characters at times refused to move. The brightness calibration is somewhat off too, i thought I had my brightness calibrated perfectly at a crisp 25 percent but at some parts it became impossible to navigate because everything was so dark. This is me just nitpicking though, I loved the story, which is ultimately why I was playing the game, for the story.

Brad somehow died in my playthrough, he saw a reanimated hanged corpse, panicked and jumped onto a stack of manchurian gold hanging from the roof and then fell to his death. I DIDNT GET A SINGLE DECISION OR QTE in this entire sequence, i successfully navigated the earlier path when Brad got separated from Fliss, maybe i messed up something there. Fliss was successfully able to retrieve the distributor cap from Olsen after he opened the flood gates, killing him in the process. Alex, Julia, Fliss and Junior jump aboard the Duke of Milan and escape. Then the saddest part:( , Conrad comes to the freighter to rescue them and falls prey to the gas and gets trapped on the ship. I really liked Conrad it was unfortunate that I led him down that path:(

When the alien copied Simms, did it actually gain her memories and personality, or was it only copying her appearance and learning how to act like her? Is there anything in the game that confirms exactly what information it gets from the person it copies?

I finished Man of Medan like an hour ago, and went through The Devil in Me a week ago. I never thought of the curator to be anything more than a narrator or an indifferent observer but going through many posts and comments here, I've seen people discussing how the curator appeared in their playthrough or how he revived Du'met??

Can someone explain what's going on with him?

Do we have an update on the multiplayer coming out?

A plant grown from a cutting is genetically identical to the original - for all intents and purposes, it is a clone.

I just love how the twist was foreshadowed throughout the narrative. Stafford calling the hawthorn tree 'a little piece of you [Eisele]' when it's a genetically identical clone of the plant back on Earth is just so good with the added context.

Hi I am on a journey to platinum every dark picture anthology game and looking at them for me there are 4 that I can do and man of medan is the only game that seems impossible without a person's help. I would really appreciate if someone wants to do this with me. I don't know if there are any requirement about it I know it needs ps plus which I have so if anyone is interested you would really help me. I watched an streamer playing Until Dawn, and I wanted to play something like it by myself, and the Dark Pictures Anthology were on a really good sale, so I bought them, but rn I just started wondering if these games have less character interaction and less characters just hanging out sometimes (I heard it's shorter and the budget was smaller, so I don't know what to expect).

I was going to get The Quarry, but I heard the story was bad, so I'll try it some other time.

((MASSIVE SPOILERS DON'T READ UNLESS YOU'VE FINISHED THE GAME))

I don't know if this was confirmed in the game, or if it's a popular fan theory, but on my second playthrough of the game I just noticed something really suspicious:

In one of the first Simms Logs (messages to her mum), she finds out that the fluid for the sleep pods for the return to earth mission is different to the fluid in the sleep pods for the mission to Tau Ceti F (which according to Simms; shouldn't be the case at all), and later in the end of the game when the crew arrives at a Cassiopeia from a different cycle you find the previous batch of clones all dead and decomposed inside their pods killed via a unknown source but with no obvious alien life on board the ship (other than the hitchhiker).

Here is where my theory begins: The different fluid for the return mission was some form of acid or lethal substance made to kill the clones before they could ever arrive back at earth, a function done by Corinth to avoid clones returning to Earth, and the Cassiopeia we find was preparing to leave but the clones got killed due to the return fluid which would also explain why they're dead without any intervention from the lifeforms (judging from the fact that there were no aliens on board the Cassiopeia)

If my explanation was unclear (I can't tell if I worded it badly or not) I will explain it better to anybody who asks in the comments

Not gonna lie this game is ass cheeks, but that’s ok because at least we have house of ashes, directive 8020, etc. but this games plot and characters are so poorly executed so fuck man of Medan am I right!!?
