Hi everyone! Antonela here from 505 Games. As we all know, the DEATH STRANDING community is never short of advice!
Throughout 2026, we want to give our experienced Porters the opportunity to share their top tips and learnings with those just starting out. Last week, we asked the following question to our community...
DO YOU HAVE A FAVOURITE LOCATION IN DEATH STRANDING DIRECTOR'S CUT THAT PORTERS SHOULD VISIT? AND IF SO, WHAT MAKES IT SO SPECIAL TO YOU?

"So, in the mountains, somewhere between Heartman's Lab and the Evo-devo Biologist, there is a little cave, and it is THE most chill spot in the entire game and I love it so much!" - Standard_Way_4453
"The waterfall and lake at the Musician’s shelter is my absolute favorite spot in DEATH STRANDING. Total tranquility, mountain views, the ultimate way to decompress after endless deliveries." - REDXvp
It's tied between the graveyard at the end of the DC missions and the walk down to Central Knot City right at the beginning, when we first get that music fading into the experience. The graveyard is just such a special place to have Sam sit and take a rest. It's so peaceful, and the scenery is beautiful." - Emil_VII

"Ziplining through the mountain peaks was my favorite experience. Seeing the map from so high up." - MikasaAckerstupid
"I made a zipline network starting at The Craftman and going to The First Prepper. Very hard area to traverse, but after finishing the ziplines, it actually became one of my favourite routes. I eventually made a zipline network covering most of the mountain shelters." - Additional_Skin6049
"I’m quite fond of Mountain Knot City, the views on the snowy mountainous zones are spectacular, and you’re always reminded of the harsh climbs and trudging through snow in order to earn said views." - HazedRaze

"Walking down the hill to Lake Knot City for the first time and the music kicks in." - iku_iku_iku_iku
"The snow mountains" - GodFatherFPS
"So many, but one of my favorite locations is the swamp/marsh area to the northwest of the mountains." - Blaizer35
Here’s the best way I’ve found to recreate a functional and stackable Death Stranding type container. They certainly aren’t an exact match to what’s in game, but I feel like it’s the most practical way to recreate the same vibe.
All it takes is some Craftsman VERASTACK containers, which are these modular stackable containers.
Then I covered the handles with masking tape and spray painted with silver spray paint.
Lastly, I added VOID IF TAMPERED tape.
Paired with an Eberlestock Mainframe II (and a Q-PID necklace), you can basically recreate a Death Stranding porter setup.
I use my setup for picking up groceries, but hope to take it out camping sometime!
I was putting off playing the trial cause I knew I will love it and want to play the full game, the opening scene with minus sixty one playing, are you kidding me? And the rest of the 5 trial hours, just amazing. So of course when I found the disc for a very good price I couldn't resist. Love both the games so much
Made Higgs his guitar from scratch. 3D modelling and painting done by me. Printed by a collegue since I don't own a 3D printer. The white symbols on the guitar strap and guitar are free handed with some acrylic pens.
Also got it signed by Troy Baker during Dutch Comic Con. Pretty proud of the build 🥹🥹
Are blood grenades really the only option? I’ve tried the remote grenade launcher, boomerang and chiral creature hat but none of them came close to the BG.
I captured a brief video of the dynamic movement which BTs exhibit within photo mode, and figured I may as well share it here. All gazers exhibit this behavior, though I have yet to determine if other BT types do as well. Personally, I find it to be incredibly beautiful.
Death Stranding 1 last week. Death Stranding 2 last night. Wow. Just wow.
Was sitting there in my room sobbing my eyes out at 3am. I havent cried like this in 10 years. Tempted to replay the games and go for the S Tier. but I don't know if I can handle the loneliness of the 1st. I miss the full deadman, and the first has the best atmosphere for sure. but I feel so isolated playing it.
Death Steanding 2 seems way more hopeful and id like to continue that but. Fragile. I dont want to continue playing without Fragile. Its not the same. I just can't believe she's gone. And was the whole time. Its ironic to me, if she had not tried to save Lou in the beginning there would probably have been a higher chance they would both have been fine - Lou/Tomorrow is a repatriate after all. And Sam wouldn't have missed 20 years. Its just so tragic to me.
Wishful thinking. but i pray Fragile has a role in death stranding 3 if that ever comes to fruition. With how much she said how she'd always be with him it makes me wonder if there's still plans there. I also just want Sam to be happy.
Wondered what this communitys favourite encounter of Cliff is and why its their favourite. All of them are so damn unique on their own way. With gameplay/story and especially the aura.
Not sure if a Dukes of Hazard reference will fly here, no pun intended. But it was definitely the first thing I thought of when I snapped the pic. 130 hours into the game and this was the first and only time I experienced a bug like this. Truck was just floating there as I passed by near the Elder.
Hey everyone, I am having a really hard time with the Conan O'Brien boss fight. I am trying to hide in the meadow to sneak up on him but his creepy little doll eyes somehow always spot me? I was able to defeat Andy Richter from buffing and healing him, but when I get to his second stage where he removes the otter hat and reveals his red hair a masturbating bear comes out and kills me :( Does anyone have any tips to finally defeat Conan O'Brien once and for all? Thanks for the help 👍
Edit: thanks for all the responses, they made me smile and laugh 👍+100
The Grand Canyon: A beautiful sprawl of rocky slopes, sheer drops, and open plateaus. Perfect for varied delivery routes.
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park: Imagine constructing a network of ladders across the rocky spires. Descending from a lone spire using a slew of climbing anchors. I need it.
A Volcano: Lots of gameplay twists. The heat can drain or even evaporate your canteen's water. Climbing ropes might burn away after 30 seconds. Rivers of magma form procedurally/dynamically. Standing still drains your shoe durability. May be a little too stressful though.
A Halo Installation (or any ringworld): This is really just for the skybox, but come on!
