Tan or Dark Grey Couch?
Which couch and loveseat would look better. Rug color ideas? The other side of the room is my kitchen.

What is the best lamp shade to use, 2 or 3rd pic?
The first pic is the left side of the house, what compliments it better, the woven or plain lamp shade? Anything else to add or to change. Open to suggestions.

Book nook vs standalone miniature house which actually looks better as long-term room decor?
Trying to decide between a narrow booknook to slide into my living room bookcase or an opentop miniiature room for my entryway side table. The standalone houses have way more 360 degree detail but I'm terrified they just turn into fragille dust magnets after a month. The book nook seems cleaner since the sides are enclosed but does the lighting effect get lost in a bright room?

Question How do I incorporate posters and collectables into bedroom aesthetic?
Hey, might sound tacky but I have no idea how to incorporate posters into a room with a certain vibe…
What I have in mind is low light, warm with a bit of greenery. Canopy sheer curtains off amazon would be awesome. Ivy sheer curtains. Very low buzz hang out…kinda like a glamping tent/room. Those rooms that look like a place to meditate or relax if yknow
But fnaf and pokemon merch is pretty hard to fit into that vibe😅I’ve been a fan of fnaf and other things for over 10 years and recently started collecting Pokemon cards for fun but I don’t know how to indulge and express those interests without disrupting the room…
Should I just put it all out anyway and let them stand out? I can live with that, but I’m just wondering if anyone had any ideas…

Question What color rug should I get? Bed frame in 2nd photo…rug cannot be cream or white
Was planning on doing darkish orange/terracotta OR mustard yellow velvet curtains
There will be a dark rust colored oversized chair on the right side corner and the bed will be on the left.
Thank you!!

Give me some tips on how to finish our living room please!
We have three small kids so decorating happens in phases. This room has been half finished for 6 months and I just want to finish it. We want to get light bamboo shades but curious if anyone has any other suggestions for this room? The shelves also have random stuff on them and I know we need pillows and stuff but would love any thoughts! We painted the accent wall so that’s not changing and the couch is staying too! Also Be nice please, I’m a tired mom haha :)

DIY Before and After - living room
Finally got rid of the millennial grey that was here when we moved in. Pink squiggle was me when we moved in to give it a bit of personality until we decided a colour.
Went for Farrow and Ball setting plaster (dupe mixed cheap in a shop) for the walls and Eating Room Red under the arch where the rooms are knocked through (going to paint the other room to match when I've recovered from this side.
So happy with the result, room feels way more relaxing and soft.

How to add colour and more fun!
I find my front door so ugly… the door is right in the middle of my living/dinning room. Can I paint it? Should I go for white or maybe a pop of colour. I like bright colours like the last photo. I was also thinking of painting the bookshelf a bright color and maybe the photo wall.

Did I make the right choice with this rug?
I’ve been trying to make my living room feel a little warmer and less “showroom” without changing all the furniture.
Found this rug and loved the pattern, but I’m still not 100% sure about the colors.
Would you keep it, or would you go for something more neutral?
This rug is from Rugritual

How to make living room more complete
This is my living room but I’ve reallllly hit a wall when it comes to decor. Some advice needed! Ideally how to decorate the walls and curtains as I’ve got temporary blinds for now. I need to keep my furniture as I’ve bought it already
