Will they ever add 2050 content into the game like the classes?

There isn’t anything 2050 has that Defiance doesn’t? 2050 actually had less content from what I remember. What “classes” are you talking about?

It had "classes" instead of the grid we have currently. Each class had several abilities exclusive to it like blur or cloak. Some were weird decisions, like removing the charge blade weapon type and making it an ability for the assassin class

There were abilities that don't currently exist in game, all we have is 4. Medic had a heal bot, Engineer had a turret, Crusader had a giant hammer.. that's what I'm talking about, not the restrictions. Just the extra abilities.

2050 was shoyt, supposed to be massively optimised, that good it could play 850fps on a potato in 8k 🤣

Last I heard only cosmetics. Which is great cause 2050 is the reason a LOT of people quit playing, or tried going back to the original game.

I commented about this in a post earlier this week, regarding some of the 2050 classes content that could potentially make a comeback but in a different, and much better way (and without pissing off die hard 2013 fans by taking away the ego grid). I think my idea is sound, but haven't heard a lot of feedback either way

There's also other 2050 content that I want added back, like the end-game synergy matrix and storyline, and how the tarr contract was changed from finding tarr traxx crates, to running the races (and there were several more race challenges, one of which was painfully annoying but I still want it back albiet fixed this time)

You can't unfortunately. The game is on PC only. Their goal is to get it back on Steam this year, but there are no dates planned for consoles. I'm not saying that its impossible it will be back on consoles, but currently unlikely that it will be in the foreseeable future.

A completely different studio bought/rents the licence for the game, only on pc sadly
