I have been fairly out of the loop on the case since reply briefings were filed. Can someone enlighten me on next steps/timeline? Apologies, I’m sure this has been discussed previously.

The only thing scheduled is oral argument before the Court of Appeals on September 21 at 10:00 am ET.
(The appeal was filed on 03/11/2025, the case was fully briefed with written arguments by 4/27/2026.) Next the appeals court will make its ruling, and that will likely be appealed to the Supreme Court of Indiana by the losing side. There's also a slight chance the appeals court could remand the case to the trial court for a further hearing on a contended issue, and that might be interesting since judge Gull retires in December.3

Just saw this (July 28th) FOIL info re:
Christina Gull's (seemingly rather serious) suspension details acquired via Indiana's "Access to Public Records Act" providing details and consequences including cause, demotion w/ salary reduction, status of certain cases, past history etc..
