Just picked up the scenario Rejection from DriveThruRPG. I was wondering if anyone here had any advice on running it and/or any assets/handouts for the scenario.

Thanks in advance!!!

Update: I'm compiling some of my own that I just started today.

-In order: Four Seasons, Glenn & Priddy (bishop square business district), HILO Medical Center, Waikiki, O'ahu Map, Honolulu, Paniolo Ranch Map, Turtle Bay Resort and Queen's Medical Center-

Published Scenarios Modifying Last Things Last Spoiler

Hi all, I'm new to Delta Green but have run many Call of Cthulhu games before, I'm planning to run Last Things Last to introduce my group to the system and I'd like to add a few things to make the scenario more horrific from the start.

I'm thinking of having Clyde's body still in the apartment and maybe some kind of lingering effect which has appeared on his corpse from the ritual he carried out on Marlene?

I modified it slightly already to have Clyde be a heavy drinker, so he's been trying to get drunk enough every night to have the courage to end the Marlene thing, but he dies from liver failure before he can convince himself to do it.

I really like the look of the scenario but I just want something weird to include at the start so it's not just the players heading to the cabin before anything unusual happens.

Any advice is very much appreciated!

Actual Play Reports The Agents hunt down a Hitler S#* Film in Season 3 of DLB

Season 3 is three episodes in, and my scenario is Southern Cross. They head to El Paso to look for a famed Hitler sex tape that supposedly has memetic properties. This season draws inspiration from Don DeLillo's novel Running Dog and Ramsey Campbell's Cold Print :). Hope you enjoy!

Listen now!

Also, big props to Chris Hamje and Kimmy from the Black Flare show for the new Dead Letter Bureau theme song!

Characters Parasocial bonds?

Hasn’t actually come up as a DM, but I was dicking around with character ideas and came up with an agent who is a kpop stan with a fixation on a specific singer.

They’re into it as a form of escapism, but it lead me to wonder - is that a hobby? Interest? Or if an agent parasocials hard enough, could that count as a bond?

Campaigning Suggestions wanted

I’ve ran plenty of games of DG but always for people who know the game or are experienced players. I’ve always just dropped them in as established Agents and off we went. That said, my sons are wanting to get in to TTTPGs and have little to no experience. Any suggestions for good scenarios where I could start them off as just normies and then bring them screaming into the world, so to speak?

Campaigning VILE STUFF EPISODE 2 - A PISCES folk-horror scenario set on the isle of Lundy

Post image
13 Upvotes

Hi all, 6 hours to the deadline of the 2026 Mini-Campaign Jam, EPISODE 2 of VILE STUFF is done! It's about bringing the formerly "occupied" PISCES agents back into the fold. Another agent was sent to investigate the sudden cessation of communication from the isle of Lundy, a National Trust reserve and popular holiday location. With the SHAN destroying England's protective shield, something old and strange has awoken, and the scion of a cursed family has returned home.

I think I'm going to be writing more episodic, shorter scenarios from here, so keep an eye out! I think the VILE STUFF title is going to represent a certain phase of these episodes before some kind of season finale, but also I've written 119,000 words of Delta Green fan content in the 15 months so maybe I just have Stockholm syndrome.

Please let me know what you all think of this one and please read all the other jam entries, everyone's absolutely smashed it basically.

Items of Mutual Interest Handlers.... How do you read in your Agents into DG

I am a about-to-be-new Handler. My players, have real simple knowledge of the Cthulhu mythos at best. So my question is....

Your PCs have had their interaction/run in with the unnatural and DG wants to recruit them as Agents and they accept. How do you read them into DG? What or how much background do you give them into the origins or DG? Do you have guidelines that you give them on how to conduct their operations?

Published Scenarios Recommended Scenario?

Hello,

I'm a long term player and fan of DG, and want to dip my toe into running a game myself. A lot of my potential players are similar to myself in that they've had a lot of exposure to a variety of DG, so I want to run something that'll be new/fresh to a lot of us. For the record, scenarios I want to stay away from include: VISCID, The Last Equation, FULMINATE, Ex Oblivione, From the Dust, Hourglass, Presence, Convergence, A Victim of the Art. I'd also like to avoid any Gods Teeth related ones as we may play that campaign in the near future.

I'd like for it to be archetypal Delta Green- mysterious case that causes the Program to investigate without much other info. Neutral on timeframe and subject matter. I also dont necessarily mind a longerish scenario, I'm more concerned about the prospect of it being too short to appreciate. Thanks for any info provided!

It all started with a random conversation a couple nights ago, and over the course of a few evenings of tinkering, we’ve built a free-to-use web version of our electronic dice roller! It works exactly like the real thing, with advanced roll capabilities, preset save and recall, etc.

You can find instructions on our website, and the fullscreen implementation linked in the comments:

Characters Powerful figures as a bonds?

Hey everyone! Very new to Delta Green, got swayed by quinn's review of it like a lot of newer handlers, and I already started discussing with my girlfriend and some friends about a potential DG campaign and what type of characters they want to play. When I mentioned the bond system, my gf (who's character concept is that of a white collar gun runner ala Lord of War) said she wanted to have Mitch McConnell as one of her bonds. I laughed at the absurdity of this, but no, she was serious. After much discussion of the concept that DG is a deep rooted government conspiracy I checked the agent's handbook and....Yeah. RAW, there's nothing stopping players from having high ranking government officials, even high profile politicians, as bonds.

I have since then managed to convince her that it would be too wacky for the tone DG usually goes for and has let it rest after a big sigh, but I still wonder, how would you handle players who want, idk, George W Bush or someone like that as their contact/bond and won't back down?

Campaigning Impossible Landscapes and Character Creation

Hi all,

I'm finally prepping for Impossible Lanscapes, and I want to help my players create their characters.

I think anchoring them to New York or Boston, and having a life we can work on dismantling along the campaign is the way to go, but I was wondering how to make character creation really interesting for the players.

We never prepped characters deeply before, as everyone was more focused on the story part. But here, player characters matter most.

Do you have a technique you use to create characters ? A set of questions or solo roleplay to suggest ? I'm open to everything, and most of character creation will have to be done before the first session (as we have someone at the table with a really tricky schedule to manoeuver).

Scenario Seed I've run Operation FULMINATE twice in a row and noticed something...

Every time the McGill boy starts mentioning caverns, the players immediately want to go to explore local caverns, and I have to explain to them either directly or indirectly that going into caverns is not on the menu for this one-shot.

Whilst I think Last Things Last is a better introduction, I do think Fulminate is the more off-the-rails introduction to run with the kid clones, kid zombies, kid psychic powers, shoggoth and opportunities for player possession. I do wish there was some kind of sequel that allowed the players to finally go into those caverns and (foolishly) fight the K'n-yan on their home turf. Maybe it's a mine shaft in the Yosemite area associated with child disappearances, or going back to the original "Mound" story, ghost sightings mixed with stories of disappeared explorers.

Have you guys ever run a sequel to Fulminate? If you have any ideas or suggestions I'd love to hear them!

Actual Play Reports The most Delta Green ending to an Agent's career I've seen.

Just wrapped up running Music from a Darkened Room for my players, and I didn't think there would be any serious deaths in the back half but we ended up having what I think might be the most DELTA GREEN ending to a PC I've seen.

The Agents were trying to kidnap someone for their upcoming ritual, knowing there was an undercover cop 2 streets down from them watching their target. They sneak in to the home of one of the older residents, crit fail stealth, alerting the (armed) man and his nurse, gun fire ensues attracting the officer down the road. With moments to spare, Agent Mallard (M) who had created some makeshift molotovs prepares to torch the house as a distraction, one Agent grabs the target, another the nurse to prevent unnecessary deaths. The deputy kicks in the door and sees Agent M wreathed in flame as they are attempting to flee, yells "Stop! Police!" and fires 1 shot. Agent fails their dodge, crit success from the officer. Exact amount of HP rolled on the die, killing the Agent instantly. The deputy calls in the shooting, sees the agent had a concealed weapon and tosses it to one side, passing it off as a defensive shooting.

Agents go through the rest of the adventure, complete the ritual, save the day at cost. The distraction caused by Agent M's death keeps the local police completely occupied and allows the rest of the Agents to successfully do their ritual and cover their tracks.

Agent M has... multiple occult killings, kidnapping, arson, theft of a corpse, and assaulting an officer pinned on them. DG covers up the entire incident on that one agent as an insane obsessive serial killer, the other Agents leverage the official story to protect their jobs at the cost of their friends reputation, the friends Agency uses their death to avoid having to investigate why one of their agents was fucking around in this small town with a shotgun kidnapping people, and instead send the dead Agents bonds a folded flag and a "they died with honor overseas" coverstory.

The only people that know they died (successfully) saving future innocent lives from horrible deaths is their own team, and everybody has to go around pretending that Agent was actually an evil murderer and not a hero. The most DG ending I've seen for a character in one of my games.

I couldn't find any agent directives for Convergence online so I made one for the Operation:REDACTED group and wanted to share incase anyone else could get some use out of it. Please use and edit it however you see fit for your game.

I prefer having the handler give them something like this similar to Last Things Last to keep them on point. We all know how hard and fast shit hits the fan.

Campaigning Damnatio Memoriae Act 3 Part 1 - AAR and Review

Session 4:

The agents did some multitasking.

While travelling to the Green Box where they remembered leaving Pujari Aarav's (Nolan Williamson) journal and occult tome, they decided to do some OSINT and see where Pujari is now. They discovered he rebranded from Eastern Mysticism/Faux-Buddhism to become a Manosphere Life Coach. The results are the same: he lures victims in, shows them the meditation ritual, Mother Hydra kills them and erases them from the world's collective memory, and Pujari/Nolan loots their valuables to fund his lifestyle.

The agents passed a drive roll, which spared them from the cop traffic stop encounter.

At the Green Box, they found three homeless people nearby, and ran them off, albeit they were paranoid of being attacked by them. The agents reviewed Pujari/Nolan's journal and occult tome and confirmed that Phosgene gas works against Mother Hydra. Also in the Green Box were two 1kg bricks of pure cocaine. One of the agents decided to take a brick.

The agents contacted Teddy at Roger's direction to purchase Phosgene gas and arranged to trade a brick of cocaine for the gas.

The agents then got a hotel room facing Pujari/Nolan's residence and surveilled him briefly to confirm he still lived there.

Finally, the agents decided to get some sleep. They had been running on fumes and their Willpower was already low from resisting Mother Hydra attempting to erase their memory of it.

Unfortunately, instead of rest and recovery, they had vivid nightmares of killing their fellow agents and then themselves (1/10 SAN loss). Some agents immediately used cocaine after the first nightmare and planned to move quickly to take down Pujari/Mother Hydra. The rest of the agents tried to sleep one more time (lol) and after another round of vivid nightmares of murder and suicide, they also used cocaine.

This was especially humorous as one of the players discussed how he was looking forward to recovering Willpower via rest last session.

A aeromoça continua insistindo.

Open Source Intel Chinese agencies in Delta Green

Canonically, there are only 4 government agencies in Delta Green that aware of the unnatural (Delta Green, M-EPIC, PISCES, and GRU SV-8). However, China occupies an interesting place in the canon, given how Tibet is an important location in the Mythos, and the Communists had direct encounters fighting the Kuen-Yuin during the Cultural Revolution. There's also a explicit mention that a Chinese investment group purchased the building that used to serve as the The Fate's headquarters. Perhaps there's something going on that Delta Green doesn't know about?

I did see that there a couple of fan-made Chinese agencies on the fan wiki, but I feel there's a fascinating angle that hasn't been explored yet. Did you know China (and Taiwan) has official institutes dedicated to researching Traditional Chinese Medicine? It's not implausible researchers might stumble upon the unnatural in their studies... Furthermore, did you know the famous Chinese rocket scientist Qian Xuesen was a believer in qigong and thought it could be scientifically studied? Here are some interesting tidbits from his Wikipedia article:

In 1980, Qian proposed research into noetic science.[29]: 94 Qian envisioned it as a discipline which would cover all topics required to develop an understanding of how to formalize human thinking for digital computers and computational systems, drawing together neuropsychology, linguistics, philology, logic, and the development of algorithms.[29]: 95–96

From the 1980s onward, Qian had advocated the scientific investigation of traditional Chinese medicine, qigong, and the pseudoscientific concept of "special human body functions". He particularly encouraged scientists to accumulate observational data on qigong so that "future scientific theories could be established".[68][69]

If there was ever a Chinese equivalent of MAJESTIC, he 100% would've been part of it.

Published Scenarios Thoughts on Inversion from CoC for Delta Green?

So I have been sitting on Inversion by Alex Guillotte and Bud Baird (RIP) for a while and got into Delta Green recently. I was wondering if anyone here had tried to modify the adventure for DG?

Trying to keep anything I share within "what you'd get off the back of the book". I love the premise as a DG scenario. The Debunker Bunker (a Ghost Hunters!-sort of crew) go off and start building "a device that can access other dimensions", but it's only taken semi-seriously by DG leads... maybe because most of the Debunker Bunker stuff is completely ridiculous or harmless?

A DG agent, maybe another member of his crew go of their own accord. They, and a bunch of normal folk get thrown into the adventure.

I love the idea of the DG agents being forced to work with non-DG just to survive, and then being torn between the options of: "rescuing these people" or "containing the incursion".

I could go on about the mechanics of DG agents being in this specific adventure, but you get the gist. would appreciate any experiences with this or general thoughts and feedback.

Thanks!
