Rant DIA security catastrophe??

DIA is only letting TSA pre check passengers through security?? At the very front of the regular boarding line and they haven’t let a single person through for 30 mins. People are missing flights because they won’t let regular ticketed passengers through. People freaking out. Get it together 🤣

There's almost certainly more to the story than what's being reported in this post.

Nope. They’re punishing folks for not paying for Clear. That’ll learn ‘em to take the sales pitch from the folks selling it in the security line.

Edit: Came back to see that I def should’ve added a /s

Oh well…

That doesn't make any sense. Clear is a private company.

Clear isn’t a government program

Now I know it’s BS. OP said pre check and you’re saying clear?. Those are two different programs.

Well that’d be great point if the post said only letting clear through! But next time!

TSA wait times officially look like this;
East is slower according to this
23-27 minutes as of 9:02 Tuesday 9/1

Um, right. I don't think this is happening.

Could it be that the equipment is down in the non pre check area?

They're basically the same area, it's just one TSA guy for pre and Clear (I think Clear?) at the end checking ID's and letting you through to the shared scanners.

I don't believe you.

I very highly doubt that’s happening

Looking at flydenver.com, there's no story here. 10-12 is a big bank of flights and Tuesday is often amateur hour.

Are they combing the line trying to get people to try clear/precheck
