I know it's supposed to be abs, but it looks like someone's tucked a long shirt into saggy shorts and is showing off their bum.

Pretty sure that people with abs are not the target audience for a company that makes bread.
But, hey, we all are talking about it. The marketing and creative team knew what they were doing. Goddamnit!

It’s supposed to be ass, my guy…
The person is wearing a skirt, and the person they’re hugging is pulling their skirt up.

Where does it say someone is hugging them? Its gotta be abs, especially since theres 6 buns

Visual literacy says someone is hugging them? I don’t see six abs, I see two ass cheeks connected to upper thighs.
Also, the angle and placement which the arm is coming from suggests it’s not someone pulling up their own shirt, but rather someone else reaching behind and pulling the fabric up.
But if you want to see abs instead of ass, knock yourself out.

"Visual literacy" says you should see the cut line in the buns behind the horizontal bar, so you see 4 ass cheeks I guess? And the angle and placement could be either a skirt or shirt, I guess. But if we're being pedantic, its clearly being held in a way to show off what's underneath. Are you implying the person is hugging someone with a skirt and just lifting it to show what's underneath? Or is it more likely someone showing off their own abs?

The “cut line” is where the ass cheeks overlap with the upper thighs right below them. Jesus, have you never seen a naked person from behind?
“Are you implying the person is hugging someone with a skirt and just lifting it to show what’s underneath?”
Ummm…yes? Have you never made out with someone and then reached around behind them to feel up their ass? Pro-tip: you’re gonna have to lift up their skirt to do so.
The whole point of this design is to imply sexual foreplay. Guess you’re just too square to get it.

Hand placement says it's not abs

What are you talking about? Look where the thumb is and pretend you're lifting your shirt from the front or back. That's clearly supposed to be abs with the way the arm is tilting

They are supposed to be abs. There's no way any bread company would allow a design that indicates that it's an ass. You know, kids also buy at the grocery store or supermarket, and they wouldn't want to risk having their product banned for having a lewd design.

Is this supposed to abs or ass?
