👍 What is good

A non old.reddit comment feed that has the easy readability from the old comment feed

❤️ What is great

Comment feed!

💪 What could be even better

Mod actions but I know that's on the backlog

👍 What is good

It’s a comment feed!

❤️ What is great

Does what it needs to. Loads fast from my side.

💪 What could be even better

Images appear as hyperlinks, is that a limitation?

There was a link to the post but maybe a mention of the subreddit somewhere in case I forget? Maybe it’s there and I didn’t see it.

Op. You know what? I completely forgot about my note to render markdown!

Scribbles on recipe

Got it! Fantastic feedback!

I did have a "header" that had the sub name in it, but it became "repetitive" so I removed it. The post title is always "r/{Subreddit} Comment Feed", which displays right above the inline view and displays in the expanded view's modal header!

Polite way to say "you missed it <3"

Ya I suspected it was up top but didn’t want to go back and lose my place in the feedback. Thanks for confirming and cool lil app!

Thanks! Hope it's useful for both mods (well, once mod actions are added) and community members!

❤️ What is great

Clean UI and so fast! I love that i can click the comment to be redirected. Great idea~

💪 What could be even better

Take this as less 'feedback' and more a shopping list of what [I] would love to see from this as its clearly already doing its job functionally.

  • auto slow scroll of recent comments in addition to the next buttons.
  • image embeds
  • i would love to se the ability to choose: text comments only, images only, or both. [assuming youll be going the route of enabling image embeds]

Is this visible to all users or only mods?

What Beach didn't say, https://old.reddit.com/r/SUBREDDIT/comments/ is how users can see all comments in a subreddit

Great clarification! I will update that note in the Readme next time :)

True. I was mostly asking because I could use this as a mod tool on iOS but don’t want a big post of comments on the regular feed. Using old Reddit to see new comments is super annoying on iOS.

It's super annoying that it's still not possible to see removed webview posts in the app. Hopefully it will get fixed soon. There are quite a few mod tool apps that use webview, it's a shame to have to miss out

Currently, it's visible to everyone, just like the Old Reddit /comments page is available for everyone!

If you want to make it only visible to mods, you can always "remove" the post after it is created. This still allows mods to view the post on Desktop (appears iOS doesn't show Devvit webviews if the post is removed), but prevents non-mods from seeing the post.
