News Blizzcon Reveal!!! For DI and D4

Ohhhh! Blizzard has revealed the stage schedule and event timings for Blizzcon 2026 in advance!!!

This section will focus mainly on Diablo, just like with other games. Everyone notices the red dots and text 🔴 indicating upcoming Diablo events. Games like Diablo Immortal and Diablo IV will also be included, with reveal times scheduled since mid-year, and it's almost the end of the year now... This means player investigations have been ongoing for three months, and hopefully, that's not enough to revitalize the Diablo community, as these three months have been remarkably quiet for all of Blizzard's games....😭

But that might not be the case, because now it's Blizzard's turn to get serious... Let's see what happens in the next two days...

▪️ September 12, 2026

There might be three parts... Firstly, the developers will occasionally release content updates for the next installment of the year for both D4 and Diablo Immortal. These games have been officially in development since mid-year, and we can expect to hear details about Season 15 for D4 and the major Made to Suffer update for Diablo Immortal soon.

You'll also get to see behind-the-scenes footage of D4's art and cinematic releases on the main channel.

Finally, there's a 7-hour-long Diablo Immortal event, though it's unclear if it will stand out as it's significantly longer than other games. The event will feature intense competition, including the Bout of Realms regional championship (will the judges be global?), PVP battles, and conquest strategies.

▪️September 13, 2026

This will be a three-part event… First, the developers will update on content expected in the previous year for both Diablo Immortal and D4. D4 will discuss its roadmap, something we're used to seeing as it's been a while since we've seen a long-term development plan. It might include special considerations for expansions or casino developments. Following that will be a look at Diablo Immortal's initial development plan. A shortened version of an ancient plan might be revealed next...

The source is the ongoing live stream showcasing Diablo Immortal artwork, which will also feature special guests—who they are remains to be seen.

Towards the end of the event, there will be another 7-hour Diablo Immortal event, along with the official team search for Bout of Realms, and hopefully other events throughout the event period.

__

P.S. This is all about our Diablo games, and other games will also be featured, as currently only two main games, D4 and DI, remain. Only newer games, D2R and D3, will be included, with some updates unavailable...

P.S.1. If you combine the final hours, DI will take up around 13-14 hours, after which it will be able to reach its destination. We will update you as soon as we know when that will be...

Question So I seen a post saying the 50$ leg gem bundles are bad cost ?

So I'm almost 5k reso, I usually buy the 50$ choose your own 2/5* bundle that comes with 15 leg crests, some pearls, and something else that changes. I find this to be the best thing because I get the 5* I want, and I still get 15 leg crests to put into whatever event. After lv 7 I don't plan to get anymore because the cost just keeps increasing, but I read on a couple different posts that it's not worth buying this bundle because their better deals.

I find most S tier gems to be around 50k (excluding right now.) So even if I get 3k orbs and turn that Into like 19 sellable crests it still seems like a bad turnaround. Does anyone have any info on if this is actually the best thing or buy or not? They had a bunch of math but it just confused me lol.

Thanks :)

Based on server population, I don't want to start on a dead server.

I know this is a recurring question, but there hasn't been a question about a French server in 2 months, so I'll go ahead and ask again.

Discussion From Unsafe for the player base to “Penalty action was an error”: A Diablo Immortal Tale

Post image

Original topic from the day I was banned:

https://www.reddit.com/r/DiabloImmortal/comments/1dg2am0/from_loyal_player_to_unsafe_for_the_player_base_a/

Hello my name is Kopova and I am a Diablo Immortal player again :) Or at least after more than 2 years I am)

More than 2 years ago I got permanently banned as a “Severe Exploitator”. No warning, no explanation and no idea what I supposedly did. I did not bot, use macros, cheat or exploit anything. I was a clan leader, made videos about the game, ran a Discord community and played with a supported Xbox controller since launch.

I contacted blizzard support many times and every time got almost the same machine reply. The bann was checked, exploitative activity was confirmed, the decision was final and nobody would review it again. At one point blizzard even warned me that continuing to ask about it could lead to more penalties on my Battle.net account.

I explained every possible thing that could have triggered it. I was a Shadow clan leader, so mass reports from competing clans were possible. I was banned the day after the Inferno release, when I opened many saved reward mails and chests immediately after maintenance. I asked them to check if this looked suspicious to some automatic system. Nobody actually answered any of this.

I also started chargebacks for purchases that still qualified. I told my whole structured story to the banks, provided tickets, purchase history and all evidence. Blizzard fought the chargebacks through all possible stages and I still won them. So more than 2 years ago, when money was involved and a third party actually reviewed the situation, blizzard could not support their position well enough. But their support still continued telling me the bann was correctly reviewed and confirmed.

Then a few days ago blizzard changed the Account Restrictions page. My bann was suddenly listed under “Past penalties” and the page said “You don't have any active penalties”, while Battle.net still showed Account Banned.

I opened a normal technical ticket asking why their own systems disagreed. This time somebody escalated it.

And then I received an email:

“After reviewing the evidence, we’ve determined that our penalty action was an error.”

“We are reopening your Diablo: Immortal account and hope you will accept our apologies for the mistake.”

So after more than 2 years of confirmed exploitative activity, final decisions, ignored appeals and even threats for continuing to contact support, it turns out I did nothing wrong :)

I got my account back, but no compensation for more than 2 years of lost progress, no explanation of what actually triggered the bann and obviously no way to get all that time back.

But my clan was alive and doing well through all the time I was banned. Special thanks to КотанКотаран, Chris, Hilts, Jojo and most of all Iselin, who is now a clan leader for longer than I have been ! And it was so shocking and heartwarming logging in after such a long time and still being in the clan !

Despite my faith in blizzard being shattered, moments like that is why we game, its the people we meet along the way :)

False positives can happen, I understand that. What is completely inhuman is an immediate permanent bann with no explanation, followed by an appeal system that just repeats for years that the original decision was correct.

Now we know for a fact that a bann can be checked, confirmed and called final many times while still being completely wrong.

Makes me wonder how many innocent players simply gave up and are still banned because nobody ever properly looked at their case.

Left a Bilifen TRift early and my screen was foggy from being in the clouds. I spawned in above the treetops on the edge of the map. Moved around on the border of the map for a little bit before falling for a couple seconds back into the walkable area. Wild

Discussion Give tempest the ability to escape cc ?!

Rework the legs Mistwalkers (Breaker) so they give you the ability to escape cc like every other class. I'm not sure why this hasn't been added yet. Every other class can escape cc except Tempest. Make the class playable.

Discussion The real problem isn't content drought, it's that daily boring stuff

The last few updates missed what actually makes people log off for good. New systems keep getting stacked on top of a daily loop that hasn't changed since day one, some thoughts in this direction:

Contracts. Same handful of tasks since launch. Rotating the same set for years is not variety.

Dungeons. The most reliably fun content in the game and the most neglected. Barely any new ones, almost no variation in the old ones. Give us modifiers, new layouts, tiers that mean something. Or build something new that delivers the same steady value.

Time gates. There's genuinely good PvE and PvP content most people never touch, purely because it only opens when they're at work etc.Widen the windows.

Alliance monopolies. Same alliance holding everything for ages on a lot of servers. No path in, so people stop trying. Making reigns contestable again would do more for server health than a new zone.

New zones. You clearly put work in, then gave us no reason to be there. No interesting mechanics, no rewards worth the trip. Abandoned within a week.

Terror Rifts. Fine as an option, awful as the only one. More ways to get quick daily gems, and please include one that works solo.

Events. Recycled to the point where I can predict the whole month. Same minigames, different skin.

Currency bloat. A dozen currencies and materials I couldn't explain to a new player.

It's making the stuff we already do daily feel less like clocking in. The people leaving now are the ones who stayed longest, and it's not over a missing feature.

Discussion Gonna Skip the Next New 5-star Gem, However OP It's Gonna Be

Gotta put a stop to this FOMO cycle and endless spending. I read the other post about paying 50k USD and going to stop, and I really felt for it.

It just costs too much to try to catch up with the top whales. The ceiling used to be 10k res, then after a while they all became 12k~13k. Got good gems combination, but then Colossus Engine came up, and then Blood Floe, Haunt Coil, Fated Trail, LT, HD, and suddenly 5 out of the old "8 best gems" were replaced, and our accounts become obsolete if we don't have the new best ones.

One year ago I thought I got perfect pets and then the new breeds came up and I spent more to "perfect them", which won't be perfect next time they add something.

Some of us knew it's gonna be like this again and again, but just didn't have the heart to put a stop to it. I'm glad that more and more mid-to-big spenders are "awakened" recently.

For us that have spent certain amount of money into the game, we are actually more than able to enjoy the game for a very long time even if we stop spending from now on. In the end of the day it's always the communities, inside or outside of the game, that matter the most.

"Trying to stay on top" is really exhausting. And forever will be.

So I'm gonna skip the next new 5-star gem, however OP it's gonna be.
I need to start to stop.

Fellow players in the same situation, I hope we'd all get out of it some day.

Idea QoL Request: Allow Us to Rule One or More Duns out of the Random List

I do duns 90% of the time in DI. And I really hate the Pirate Ship:

Pointless transition and sections that we can't speed up passing no matter how we run and hit
Not enough mobs to build up enough damage number
Ridiculously long and pointless with the "no mobs" affix

I know it's probably just me having problem with this one, but I'm sure there're certain duns that each of us don't wanna do. So please just give us a feature so that we can at least rule ONE dun out of the random list.

Seriously, I'd rather got "fined" for the 5-min ban (can't do random duns in 5 minutes if quitting early / from the start). Nothing I can do in that 5 min could be worse than spending 3 minutes in that dun.

Discussion Spent 50k USD. Haven't played in 2 years.

I started at release when I overheard some coworkers anticipating it's release. Funny thing is, I never spoke with them about it or even played a Diablo game before this one. I never even told them I played once I started. I just sat back, listening and thought "hey that sounds exciting".

I remember going into the game firmly believing I didnt need to spend money to have a good time. They sure got me! I still remember my first purchase. A 99 cent red sword cosmetic. I thought "this game has been free and good to me. I at least can give something back." Then the spending flood gates opened.

Not going to lie, spending my first couple thousand the first few weeks of release was a unique experience since the game was so new. No one really had the compounding small purchases add up over years yet. Most people were only buying small packs or bundles for the majority of people if they were spending at all. Access to the whale market where 5/5 were much cheaper made it easier to get the best gems. A lot of attention and being a "special boy" in the vault and from other players who would message me all the time and that gave me some attention and excitement for a while.

Eventually the game added the addition of familiars and it was completely lost on me. "How do I max this thing out? Combining familiars? Can't I outright buy the best?" It just didnt click with me and suddenly I didnt have the best thing in slot anymore. That made me lose my interest in progression and quit playing for the first time.

Came back after about a year and found they added two extra weapon slots and more 5 star gems. Well I just couldnt have the old crappy gems anymore and slots without 5/5 gems. After all, look what ive put into the game! Then after "catching up" and spending more to get those things, I found out with my large break in the game those who spent a lot less could beat me or at least put up a good fight.

I had a few extra phases of leaving and coming back again, but it never offered the same excitement as dropping a few thousand at release did. I refused to be prisoner and trapped in a never ending game trying to keep up. Felt like a chore. I still have a coworker that has spent over 100k and is still chained to the game. I dont think he will ever leave. Thinking back to it, I'm kind of glad the introduction of familiars turned me away from the game. I could have became really obsessed and possibly even went into debt over a video game.

I now just play Diablo 4. Very causally, not as exciting as immortal was for me, and I dont even play games much anymore. I think it diablo immortal destroyed my whole dopamine rush with video games in general. Lesson learned early I guess. Not bashing the game, I still had a blast for the time I did play it, just a very very expensive version of a video game.

Idea QoL Request: Guaranteed Bot Fight in BG with Diminishing Points Mechanism

ppl ask me y i hate pvp. i don't hate pvp. i hate waiting.

idea: guaranteed bot fight in BG like after 3min of waiting. first fights reward the same points as usual, while the more bot fights one does, the fewer points are given. like the higher we progress past server paragon level, the more experience penalty we got, to eventually as low as 1%.

that way ppl don't get to legend by doing all bot fights, but ppl like us who'd given up on BG can still have some fun during a 10min break.

this is a mobile game. it should be grab and play, not grab and wait.
