Requirements for classes

I have a possibly silly question.
I am hoping someone experienced this and could clarify!
I am applying for an internship that starts January 2027.

My fall semester is starting in October and then my next is early January (like honestly the 2nd!)

The internship application said to be enrolled in one class.

I don’t see any specifics to say if I’m still eligible if my fall semester starts October 7th and my next one starts January 2nd.

Am I not eligible because my semester isn’t right now but instead October and January? 🤔

Someone in one of the Facebook groups recently had issues with eligibility because they were starting their classes later, but had applied now. You could apply now and if you get to the interview stage, mention that your semester has not yet started but you are enrolled to start classes in October and see what the recruiter says, or wait until your semester officially starts to apply (applications should be open til around November based on previous spring recruitment cycles). Tbh the DCP application assumes “regular” semester starts (August and January) so it’s kind of a gray area?

I took 2 gap years and I am now finishing up on my degree this fall. I only needed two classes and they start Sept. 18th. I interviewed over a week ago and got my acceptance last thursday and it wasn’t an issue. In my interview I just said I was finishing up on my degree starting classes soon and it wasn’t an issue. I was also worried about this but I think you’ll be fine
