Other Again, I'm nostalgic about DFFOO
So I was playing another gacha game (Genshin) , and since they recently buffed one of their low tier character (Qiqi).
I remembered that time when Sazh's 35cp got an early release for GL, It was wild.

Honestly part of the reason I want the fight club to exist is so that I can show people how creative this game was at converting the non-turn based FF characters into turn based ones without losing the feel of the characters. I especially like what they did with Cor and Noctis incorporating warp strikes and link attacks into the kit.

I also like what they did for the FFV crew, they all had the Mastery thing going on, also some of the FFXIII crew also have that Paradigm Shift based if the used skill 1 or 2.
I know this is too much to ask of the Fight Club
But if we get lucky and get the Resonance treatment, maybe the official devs can implement an identity/mechanic for each mainline crew, ex, Mastery for 5, Trance for 9, etc

as an Ardyn-t FFXV fan, seeing Cor as a GL exclusive and having fun unique mechanics made me love this game more than I already did. it's crazy that they were able to make 100+ characters feel unique is a testament to the battle system. I know everyone hated FR and I did too, but seeing the duos they put together for the animations was always a treat.

I genuinely think Square Enix knows they were wrong about terminating this game. I have high hopes that a remake will return. I know Flop Crisis was an attempt at it but i hope they put their greediness on the side as it has not worked once.

I still believe that it was mismanagement in SQEX, they did not want to terminate the game but they fumbled the ball hard when they did the stupid Gem Cap thing, then remaining steady stream players that regularly purchased the Costume bundles and Mog Pass stopped spending once the Gem Cap was implemented.

you might see it as the thing that led the game to fail, but I see it differently. Development in games take time and thing you see in game, had already been in their possession at least months before it officially release. I can see when they implement game caps, it's not because they are stupid and don't want money, it's because by they time, not even the dev knew a fresh way to upgrade-ing our character, even after everyone is on their level 90. Remember that when EX weapons are a thing, they still regularly relesaed character without their EX weapons on release for some reason.
like they usually don't give crap about upgrading things before their latest powercreep weapons / abilities is proportionally distributed to everyone first. Them implementing cap is basically their way to announce that, we have no idea where this game would go, consider this early warning, rather than the devs / publisher naively did not know that limiting paid gems would have catastrophic consequences.

What are you talking about? They dropped it because it wasn't making the money anymore and so they could move people around on new projects that will earn them a higher yield. Besides, the game has reached its ceiling. It lasted longer than most gachas do.

When did i say it was not about the money..? I simply said maybe there was another solution than terminate the game? The fact that there's still so many people here talking about the game says it still had a grrat future ahead. That's all i was implying.

And I'm telling you you're wrong. The game has hit us ceiling. There wasn't anywhere to go. There isn't "so many people". It is a very small community. If you think there was another way, then you're just ignorant to how business is done. You started that you genuinely belief SE knew during down the game was a bad move. What the fuck are you talking about. It absolutely wasn't. Otherwise wouldn't have done it. Again, just ignorance to how these business are conducted.

I replayed through World of Final Fantasy. The chili bobble head design keeper reminding me of DFFOO. Then I got Omega, the same mecha Enna Kross summoned and I thought, "Damb, I miss OO."

Do you think FR should be included or not?
Before the end I felt that FR changed the mechanics of the game too much
