DOS2 Help Fane romance?!

Hello all!

It’s my first time playing the game, and I’m still on the Fort Joy island so not very fair into it lol… but all I know is… I need Fane… what do’s a girl have to do to get the chance to romance him? And is romancing even a thing in this game? Thank you!

Just talk to him, out off all the companion is the easiest

Yeah like I romanced him on accident. I was trying to romance Ifan but accidentally also got Fane as an option.

It is a thing, just make sure he is in your party at the end of the act cos anyone who isn't in your party is gone forever. Don't worry it is clear when it is going to happen and act 1 is huge.

You get points based on choices they approve of and dialogue, with how much there is you can just play the game and aslong as you do his quest in act 2 you'll be fine.

If you tried to pick every option for approval you'd go mad and it really isnt needed, its not like other games whete a majority of your choices need to focus on one character.

If you wnat to get boned by Fane, just do the usual stuff - you know talking to him (including initializing dialogue). Being interested in him as a person. If you establish a relationship that way, you have quite good chances. Usually it happens during a cruise ;)

There are romance scenes for every main character in the game. To get these you have to do their personal quest. This will raise their affection und at certain points in game you get the chance to deepen your relationship

When you're on the Lady Vengeance for the first time, after all the battles, he'll rest below deck. You get to do a little sumthing sumthing with him.

You'll unlock new topics every now and then, mostly after progressing a main quest, stop for a moment and talk to him (and all your other companions). This, letting him speak to NPCs when he wants to, and making decisions he'd approve, will increase your attitude (I have no idea whether high attitude is actually required for romance, but he'll be nicer for sure). At some point around Act 1/Act 2 he'll ask if you're flirting, and at the end of Act 3 there'll be a romance scene.

Oh, sass is going to get more affectionate, but it's here to stay, that's a core personality trait for him

I just did a fane and Sebille playthrough as Duo lone wolf. Playing as Fane though so I'm not sure if it works the other way around but just talk to them every now and again, after the 2nd act we already boned 😂 Sebille took me to a secret room in the lady vengeance to do the deed

Just be nice to him and listen to him yap and he'll absolutely love you. Despite being an immortal being he is a VERY simple man

Consistently talk to all companions regardless. Fane is easy LOL good choice, he’s my fav

He can really be adorable when he puts his mind to it. Those little moments of vulnerability and the affectionate nicknames are a good demonstration of that.
