If you main these guys I won’t rage quit but I’ll highly consider it

For context, I've put a little bit of time into this game but it's all been pretty on and off (mostly off) so I'm not exactly at the point with this game that I'm at with other games where I have a pretty good understanding of each character or the team dynamics; I basically just know the universal mechanics and maybe the gist of majority of the cast.

My local fighting game venue runs dbfz on the only day that I'm able to regularly attend so I want to try taking the game seriously.

So far the characters I enjoyed when I did play have been 21, LC21, Kefla, Vegeta blue, and I think I put some time into majin buu also. In most games I seem to gravitate toward characters with good range or good movement. (for reference, my mains in other fighting games include Phonon and Yuzu in UNI, Katara and Azula in Avatar, Giovanna and Testament in GGST, Makoto in BBCF, Weiss in BBTAG, Ciel and PCiel in MBTL)

any team recommendations/general advice is greatly appreciated

Edit: bonus points if the characters all have good black and yellow colors

Im serious how is this character considered bottom 3? you start the match in disadvantage he just does ungodly display round start everytime doesnt matter what you do you cant hit him cause hes inv so you just have to give him his turn. and everyone always be saying his block strings suck you dont need good blockstrings when your always inv.

cause i cant take my turn back cause i cant jump his freaking 5l will catch it but i cant swing either cause hes just gonna do one of his 7 dps which he can do 2 on whiff cause why not? and even if you guard you dont get a true punish hes allowed to block for some reason??

like why is gogeta red/blue gohans dp they all like -50 but this fucker is allowed to block like make it make sense? oh but (you can 2h his dps) doesnt matter cause you start using 2h he will go back to using the other ones. such a annoying character i shouldnt have to give him his turn back when hes in the corner its so dumb.

Today I played it with brother local co-op and we had a blast 💥 is it a dead game ? Also is it a game where you have to lab a little bit so you van get good ? Or just an easy game ( I’m asking this because I’m used to playing and doing complex combos in Tekken 8 and if it is a tap the button game it would be that fun )

So I saw this on a DBFZ YouTube video where they use an emulator to play DBFZ on switch, but it doesn’t show up on the switch version of the game using native hardware, is this a result of modding or did they patch this out?

I would really like to get good at this game, in the example shown, my best for not only Goku but my team is around half health damage. I see people TOD and wanna be able to do that.
The areas I would like to improve are extending my combos more, and knowing when to use my assists.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Might seem like a dumb question honestly since I believe i saw that this game is like top 10 most sold fighting games on playstation or sum up there with tekken mk etc but since the games age is there honestly I wanted to ask never played it before and I have been thinking about it for some time other games were my main so I didn't see it thru also online Is my only thing I heard about the story but nothing great and offline content Limited other than vs ai matches so I yust wanna know is it still active is it even playable for your average player or will I get packed up constantly I also wanna get the 2 gogeta charecters jiren and mui goku when it comes to dlc since they are the ones I like the most of the dlc units

I was playing a ranked match and all of a sudden I got disconnected from the game. My WiFi is working fine and I’m connected to PSN. Every time I try to go online it says “failed to initialise network”

So I won a couple of ranked matches but I wonder if there's any special rewards winning from them or maybe depending on the rank? Could you guys tell if there's any? 🤔

Felt bad bc, unlike most quits, this one happened at the beginning of a second pairing (won the first match, guy opted for no rematch) instead of the usual salty last-second quitters. We cool though!

Hi there, I’m trying to learn a Bardock combo, but I don’t get what’s the input timing for this hit, the opponent recovers before I can hit the low kick. I’ve been able to land that kick like twice, but I didn’t notice what I did different, and I can’t get from the demonstration what’s different.

Beast Gohan, Omega Shenron, Bojack, Chill and Toppo.

I mentioned Bojack and Chill cause it's been a long time since we have dramatic finishes, Gohan vs Bojack and Bardock vs Chill.

I'm a Tekken player, but i've dabbled in all types of fighting games. This is the first time that going online makes me "nope" right away. I understand the basics, i have around 30h of playtime (mostly played when the game first came out) but online feels like i only play against smurfs.

How am i meant to start my online journey if i'm matched against players that oneshot my whole team? I barely understands how neutral works because everytime a fight start there's lot of bs going on screen, and i end up just putting down my controller because at this point it just feels like a cutscene montage. And it feels like blocking put you in a state where you can't react to what's going on (unless you have experience with the game i guess) because you are being attacked from all sides (plus there are characters that just switch sides in theirs strings). As a new players it's not just hard, it feels like unless i'm willing to master the game in the lab i don't deserve to go online.

In both casual and ranked, i'm matched against the same type of players (orange and purple being the strongest i guess)

So i started playing rather recently and this is the team i've been using. Thinking about swapping Beerus with Tien maybe?

What do you mean ui's c assist just casually goes throught my Beam, but my cell's c assist gets nuked by the Beam.

What do you mean ui's 5l is faster on recovery than me, even tho we traded
