I love that they carried the dragon doodle forward from last year, and I love the "crumbling ruin in a jungle" hotel makeover too.

OMGGGG!!!!! It feels like time is slowing down!!! I need DC to get here faster!!!! I absolutely can't wait to see everybody's wonderful costumes! I've only been to DC a few times (like..4 or 5 times?), and it's turning into the one time of the year that I truly look forward to! It's so hard not to talk the ears off all my coworkers right now! Feels like I'm a Chain Chomp at the end of their leash! My work hours are really long, so I gotta get all my last minute packing and prepping in tonight. It's not a lot of time, but I'll make it work! So excited!!!! I saved up all year so I could hit the Vendor Hall at full force! >:D I'm a huge Pokémon fan, so I'm on the hunt for all things Pokémon this go around (except the cards). Two of my cosplays are Pokémon themed too! I'm really hoping to run into more Pokémon cosplayers, because one of my costumes has some really fun gimmicks and references that go along with it! It's not an extravagant cosplay, but it's cute! Anyway.. I look forward to seeing you all in a few days!!! I hope you're as excited as I am!

Finished up my Punisher Cosplay yesterday! Really happy with how it turned out! Not much of a painter but the tip I got from the sub about using black paint correct my mistakes was a game changer!

Not pictured here but I also will be taking my Cyberpunk 2077 Cosplay as well just in case! Think the Punisher outfit will get more mileage (based on the panels and photo ops I saw in the app).

Am I packed? No. But I got sweet nails.

MARTA has their tap to pay gates running now. If you have a credit card or a phone with transit pass enabled, you can just tap the gate and go without having to stop at a kiosk. If you’re doing a bunch of trips, it’s probably cheaper to get a multi-day pass, but for those like me just going back and forth to the airport, it was super easy. Just breezed on through tapping in and out with my phone.

It's my last couple of hours at work before picking up a friend from the airport, I just informed the rest of the group of the consequences for not paying me back for our hotel room (interest applied to their share, based on whatever my credit card rate is), and I'm almost completely packed! Anyone else nailing down the final details and hating the workday?

Now that I’ve throughly studied the schedule, I’ve decided Thursday around 5 or 5:30 is when I will be at Trader Vic’s. I’ll almost certainly miss the official Drunken Dragon meetup because there’s something else I want to do at 7, but if anyone wants to join me beforehand that would be great! Ah-ooooh!

First time doing one of these but this Gustave cosplay is the most serious I’ve done yet and I escape my last work shift before con in 20 MINUTES so why not!
