I was at a clown-themed warehouse rave in downtown LA and got to meet Niohuru X because she was there as a DJ! She was very polite and graceful and thanked me for my support. She looks even more beautiful and scary in person. She’s also really tall, which I wasn’t expecting! I know she kinda hangs around the LA nightlife scene so I was hoping I would run into her at some point. I looked gross because I had just been jumping in a bouncy castle (again, clown themed rave) so I didn’t take a picture with her. Also she seemed kind of shy so my read on the situation was that she didn’t want to be bothered. But it was really cool to see someone who has inspired me so much and is just the essence of beauty.

Had an incredible time at Fallout in Richmond for the White Trash Bash. Abhora and Priscilla were so generous with their time during the meet and greet. They signed a dick shirt we’ve been asking a bunch of the monsters to sign.

All of the performances were amazing. Just a really unhinged show in the best possible way.

They filmed this 2 years ago… I remember on the podcast they said ideally they would time the season airing for the finale to air on Halloween … it’s September first… spooky season has officially begun.. they already started putting out Halloween candy…

In S4 the Boulet’s invented the title of Exorcistor for Koco Caine. Then they continued it with Cynthia Doll. Vander Von Odd S1 winner took up the title for Titans 2.

So if they had an exorcister for S1-3 who would it be for each season.

I’ve read up on the posts on here and saw the episode where he talks about it being a type of faux leather or vinyl combination. I’m sorry if this is a very repetitive question/discussion. I’ve been researching all day and going around my whole cities fabric stores and asking people. Even looking online at stores over seas.

It’s just like, I never find anything close to it when I search up any of those words. Nothing that has the same texture, reflection, thickness or flexibility while retaining a shape. I’ve tried looking up everything, pvc, vinyl, leatherettes, faux leathers, and combinations. I’m starting to think my search engines are omitting this glorious material. Or there’s some like huge black mirror Mandela effect going on in my mind.

Okay dramatics aside, I’d really appreciate some help narrowing down the search of these materials. Even the black “faux leather” looks amazing and I’d love to get my hands on some. The gloss and texture is what I’m after.

I am getting to the point like, I might just have to slide in orkgotiks DMs and ask. Which is a long shot, but also, maybe there’s some sorta classes/paywalled video that he has that I would be MORE than happy to pay for. Or maybe this is a gatekept secret which yknow I’d also understand. It’s either I find out or glue sheet metal to myself which, hey, not off brand for dragula aesthetics.

Anyways that’s enough of a rant, thanks in advance for any advice. I’ll get out of my textile induced psychosis one day.

I guess this is more of an observation than a discussion. But I was going through the wiki's and the lack of unaired looks surprises me. I would assume anyone on a modern season of this show would be fairly confident in there outfits, even if you don't see the point in doing a photoshoot why not take a picture and post it? Why do you think there's less of an unaired look culture on dragula than drag race?

Season 7 (no spoilers) was fully shot last year and hasnt aired. Some of the ghouls like Throb or Auntie barely got anything from it - sure, theres some... level of exposure for finalists, but we all know theres like 4 or 5 people from Dragula that got international fame from doing the show.

Production will over emphasize and capitalize on everything personal from incest to ketamine usage - and you might not even go all the way while being exploited like this, like Zava. Challenges have been incredibly dull and repetitive after season four. Is it worth it?
