Fashion Advice Which one?
I think the pants are freakishly long given you can’t see my shoes at all and looks like I’m about to trip and fall. Husband thinks they look fine and give a long legs look. I fully disagree and think it looks insane. Second pic is altered by chat. What do we think

Does that mean you're traumatized by wet flares wicking water up to your knees all winter? Because same, but also 1 are correct and 2 look silly.

No it means cropped pants were the norm for years.

This is interesting cause where I'm from if you wore pants like that people would ask if you were expecting a flood. The trend was long pants where your shoes barely showed

Where are you from? SF, CA, USA. Cropped sailor pants were so popular for like five years. 2019-2024. Now barrel crops and culottes.

I am as well, but I don't like either.... Hmm. (Nothing wrong with your opinion, I'm just pointing out that I'm also a millennial)

The shorter ones actually make you look taller and they look better with the boots.

2, because you show a little bit of the boots. See the reference of Sézane jeans.

Neither. You need a better fit . One pair is too short & the other is not fitted properly.

My pants are often very long so I agree with husband but only if they aren’t actually touching the ground when you walk. Maybe somewhere in between the two pics for your own comfort. Will you always wear that height of shoe with them?

You can always take away fabric but you can’t put it back. I would hem these slightly but not as much as your second pic.

First one, but with some taller heeled boots or a pair of tall stilettos. Killer!

I like the flare leg, but the second pair fits you bettter in the waist hip and crotch.

Make sure you wash and dry them and see how they fit after BEFORE you get them altered! Theres a good chance you’ll lose a half inch or so after washing and drying.

Edited: These don’t fit you right through the thighs and crotch and waist. Length-wise they should just touch the top of your shoes at the foot (not the top of the boot at the calf and not all the way to the floor). Leather pants should fit you perfectly everywhere otherwise they don’t look right.

The first ones are the correct length. The second ones make me wonder who did your laundry and shrank your pants.

If pleather, then none. If leather, find a pair that will fit your body after a few times of wearing and stretching. They have to feel good when you wear it, if not then move on. You will know when you find the right one. Never pleather, they don't breathe and will smell and crack with use.

1st pair is too long and the 2nd pair is too short. Go with the first one and get them tailored
