Built by myself with tmr sticks, whole clicky buttons kit and real metall backbuttons

I bought a pair of Galaxy extensor thumbsticks, but they're absurdly tight. The three prongs squeeze the analog stick's circumference way too much, and when I try to push them down, it feels like they're going to tear the rubber.
I tested them on an old spare analog so I wouldn't ruin my main one, and it ended up tearing the rubber (like in the photo). I'm thinking about using some sandpaper on the inside to widen them a bit, but will that ruin them?
Back in the PS4, I used to use a another brand and they'd snap on and off perfectly fine with zero issues. But on the PS5, it feels like if I actually manage to get them on, they're going to be on permanently because taking them off and put it back will completely destroy the thumbstick. Anyone know a fix for this, or did I just get a defective batch?

I've owned a Dualsense Edge for my PS5 and have been loving it for the past year+. My right joystick had stick drift issues after 6 months so I removed and replaced the right joystick and had no issues at all after that.

Recently the left one started getting stick drift and I again replaced the left joystick with a new one but I'm still getting stick drift after replacing the left with a new joystick.

I can't figure out what's going on and not sure what to do now. The replacement was a completely new one and while the stick drift is better it's still going on at random moments while I game.

I've reset the controller (using a pin for the hole in the back), replaced the joystick with a complete new one and I've made sure the controller is updated.

Has anyone else run into an issue like this? Is my controller just screwed??

So I heard that when playing with DualSense, the LED light changes, like in GTA V when cops chase you, etc., but it doesn't for me.

I play wired on Steam.

I have all the features, including adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, police chatter through the controller, etc., but the LED remains blue.

Anyone got an idea?

On a side note, I saw some videos where, when shooting automatic weapons, R2 kept popping up to simulate recoil. On my side, I have the adaptive trigger, but after shooting the first bullet, it doesn't kick back that much. Did they change that or something is wrong with my client?

Hey guys,
I tried to replace my sticks (stick drift, unfortunately :/ ) with TMR sticks. This was my first time soldering, so I know the soldering looks really bad.
I tested it afterwards, but unfortunately, the controller doesn’t recognize my analog sticks anymore. Where could I have made a mistake? Are my solder joints really that bad, or could it be another issue?
I also added the small wires for calibration. At first, I thought they might be causing the problem, but even after removing them, the sticks still don’t work.
I honestly have no clue what I did wrong or why the analog sticks aren’t working anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I use DualShock and DualSense controllers (ps4 and ps5) and whenever I connect them, they’re able to successfully connect however the buttons don’t seem to work. When using a controller tester website, the websites say the controllers aren’t connected. With the PS4 controller, it’ll turn off on its own after a couple of seconds after connecting and then it’ll disconnect itself. With the PS5 controller, it won’t turn off and will still stay connected but the buttons still won’t work. They’ll both only work properly when they’re wired however sometimes they’ll disconnect from the wire when it’s still very clearly wired. I know the wire isn’t a problem because it’s a new wire that I use for my fan and my fan has never randomly shut off before. Another reason why I don’t want to play wired is because it automatically makes my default input and output audio set to the controller when my default input and output audios are my microphone and my headphones.

Summary: Controllers can connect but no inputs are being detected (controller testing sites say no controllers are being detected)

Is there somewhere I’m missing if I want a cool shell and buttons for dualsense edge, (I really want anniversary buttons but idk if they’re buyable for the edge). I already reshelled one but I want another. I feel like xtreme is the only place in can really find, any recommendations would be appreciated!

Hey guys I know this has probably been asked many times before but I suck at searching, but I’m looking to get a second ps5 controller. I’m stuck between the chroma indigo, cobalt blue & midnight black

I like the chroma indigo but sometimes when I see pictures it looks too purple and not sure I’ll like the glossy finish. I love the cobalt blue they have it on ps direct for $84 (that’s the one I really want to get) but the midnight black seems like the most sensible option because it will probably hide scratches & etc better than the others. My only concern is if they’re all the most up to date when it comes to internals & etc. the midnight black seems the less expensive & best option in terms of cosmetic care & stuff. What do yall think?

Anyone face dualsense which has gyro off not being centered, 0 level, when place on table. I tested it on astrobot playroom and it just doesnt remain straight and it just goes slanted instead. Does anyone knows what causes it ?

1) I have reset the button at the back, but it doesnt work.

2) I read that placing it on the table for 15 secs or so it will recalibrate itself , not sure if its true ?

3) The other option is to use steam , under controller to recalibrate, not sure if that helps ?

Option 1 i tried, 2 and 3 i wasnt able to do it cause the controller was mine and is passed on to the owner.

Im setting here looking at my unopened orficial ps5 controller and its 100$ receipt and wondering if there is a better option. I bought because of bad stick drift occurring in both sticks. Im not a competitive FPS guy so most of the high end controllers super duper responsiveness and custom button stuff is not necessary.

I really just want an easier to repair controller

I see the dualsense edge is a thing and supports more modular repair and the turtlebeach victrix has whole drop in modules. For something built to be disposable 100$ is too much but 200 for a repairable controller makes sense as long as its actually repairable. Ive also considered just buying cheap Amazon controllers and just tossing them if they are cheap enough. Im in the US

Any advice or thoughts? Other brands or options besides those two?

I recently bought a controller for my GF so we can play co op games, and the first thing I noticed was how quiet the adaptive trigger is. It also makes a thunky sound, while my old one has a high pitched clicking noise.
My question is, how easy is it to fix? If it is just a matter of replacing some gears, I am comfortable doing that. If it is a motor issue that involves soldering, then I am just going to leave it as is.
