I am kinda stuck. I already have a high end PC. Now i want to buy a console too. I am stuck between a ps5 pro, a ps5 slim, or a xbox.

*note: the only thing i like about xbox is the gamepass. Its crazy good plus i already use it for my pc. So win win*

Idk why, but i was buying a ps5 pro for 2400 on offer from amazon before the hike. And idk why, i didn't. Now the prices are crazy high. Like imagine, 4500 for a damn console 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

So i need suggestions, should i buy a ps5 slim with disc (2500), should i buy a ps5 pro new (4500), should i buy a ps5 pro used (search), or should i buy a xbox (2500).

I was also thinking of maybe buying a slim for now, and later on when the prices go back to normalish, maybe buy a pro?

What are your suggestions.

Anyone know if Blood of the dawnwalker would be censored in Dubai? I have not heard anything regarding it, even read some middle eastern review outlets and they don't mention anything regarding censorship.

Yesterday, I bought a PS5 from Jumbo, and now I am looking forward to buying three more controllers. It's expensive to buy from there. Is there any better option where I can find genuine controllers at a lower price ? What about Noon, Amazon, or other online platforms? I do have concerns about the warranty too.

So my psn account is based in UAE but I’ve been in Canada for years now, I’m on a tourist visa and in the UAE right now so would buying the cards here then activating them in Canada works? My main issue is that I can’t buy DLCs in my UAE account, and I tried buying off of websites but they don’t accept my Canadian bank account

Everyday i game alone and it feels kinda sad

Hey everyone, my brother is flying back from Dubai to India in mid-September and I want to use the trip to get a good laptop for my mechanical engineering degree that is reliable and can last me throughout my studies. Budget is around AED 4,000–4,600. Would love advice on where to actually get good deals , display units, clearance stock, festive/bank offers etc.

What I'll actually use it for:

AutoCAD (light use) SolidWorks (assemblies, moderate-heavy use) CFD (Ansys Fluent / SolidWorks Flow Simulation, student-level sims) MATLAB (occasional for my projects)

Specs I'm targeting: CPU: i7 (13th/14th gen H/HX or equivalent) , more priority over GPU tier GPU: RTX 4050/4060, 8GB preferred with high tgp RAM: 16GB min, ideally upgradeable to 32GB later Storage: 512GB–1TB SSD Display: open to OLED or IPS, no strong preference, should be atleast 14+

Design: I don't like the typical aggressive "gamer" look , I've tried and disliked ASUS TUF, HP Victus, Lenovo LOQ in person. Loved the Lenovo Legion 5's design/build but the laptop variant is a bit over budget. Open to other brands with a cleaner look (HP Omen seems more toned down from what I've seen).

Ik the specs i need aren't in my budget but a bit more, hence i need to know any good deals on these laptops.

Specific questions:

1) Which stores in Dubai (Sharaf DG, Jumbo, Emax, etc.) are actually reliable for genuine deals and honor warranty properly?

2)Anyone had luck with display/demo unit discounts? How much off is realistic to negotiate?

3)Is there a better time in September to catch a sale, or is it random?

4)Does UAE-bought laptop warranty actually work if serviced in India, or is it region-locked in practice?

For the past week, I keep connecting to EU servers for both games. When the ping is stable, I get a blazing 180ms ping in OW which then spikes to 400 in most games. Until last week, I was mainly joining ME servers at a decent 50-60ms. Last I played BF6, I had around 60ms ping as well but now it's sitting stable at 150
