Advice/Help Needed Help with DM gift

This week is our last session in a campaign that’s gone on a year. My husband has been an amazing DM, is there anything I can get him/do for him to celebrate the completion of the campaign? I would do special food/drinks with the group but we play online and he doesn’t like to snack while he DMs.

I've commissioned an artist to draw up the party at the end of an epic campaign.

Also, custom minis such as Hero Forge are always neat.

A nice set of dice is never a bad gift for a DM.

Commissioning custom art of the DnD party would be a sweet gesture to have something to remember the group by. It may not come that quickly but would be cool even to announce it.

A custom miniature from somewhere like heroforge of the big bad or a dmpc could be very sweet.

If you play online you could see if Pixels dice can connect to your platform. Its a fun way to roll physical dice and have them come up on a digital display.

My players got me ice cube molds in the shape of dice. I like them a lot. I also got a shirt with a wizard wearing sunglasses in a convertible. It says, "Get in, losers, we're playing D&D". I wear it when I DM.

Run a one shot or short campaign to give him a break

I am! We rotate who DMs and I’m actually going to run a Delta Green campaign next :)

Literally anything that played a central role in the story that can come to life as a prop.

Congratulations to your hubby on sticking the landing in a campaign and marrying well (because you are doing a wonderful thing)

My old lady bought me a Hawaiian shirt with dice instead of flowers, and custom dice with her, mine, and our dogs initials on a d20 d12 and d6

A steak and a BJ should go over pretty well 😂

Treat it like a holiday or bday gift. Find something he likes or wants but hasn’t purchased himself.

No snacks? How about a slurpee or frazil? Icee?

No snacks or drinks! He usually complains he can’t eat while we play because he’s running things. Icee would probably also melt by time we get around to playing.

What about a bottle of caffeine pills and a foot bath massager?
