Effectively going undrafted in most startup leagues, he is likely on your waivers if you don't play with Saints/Broncos fans. This may genuinely be the last chance to grab him before the market realizes his value.

He's an older player with only 2 years of NFL experience, but his 6'5" profile with sure hands and solid blocking will see him on the field a lot this season and beyond.

HC Kellen Moore admitted regret for not getting him involved more last season, and says he's got a defined role for him this year. While Vele entered preseason as WR3, Tyson heading to IR will push the former Ute into the WR2 for the next 4 games+.

No, I don't think he's going to win you your league, but his risk/reward is simply too big to ignore. Get him while you can.

I collected 4,461 trade threads from this subreddit and r/DynastyFFTradeAdvice to test how often these dynasty trade calculators agree with how real managers judge real trades.

Disclaimer: StatsGuyFantasy is my site. Its calculator logic was frozen before the study, and the rules for evaluating threads were locked before any calculator was scored.

The data

The sample covers the r/DynastyFF trade megathreads and r/DynastyFFTradeAdvice from October 2025 through August 2026. Each thread was converted into a community verdict based on which side commenters backed, weighted by upvotes. Ambiguous posts and threads without enough substantive replies were excluded rather than guessed, leaving 3,890 usable verdicts.

Trades were priced using each calculator’s values as of the day the thread was posted. Only trades every compared system could fully price were scored - for the three-way comparison, that left 3,003 trades, including 2,802 with a community winner.

Scoring

Each calculator was run with its full logic, including KTC's value adjustment and FantasyCalc's waiver adjustment. Because FantasyCalc's live calculator doesn’t have a fair band, I applied the same 10% fair band used by RosterAudit and Stats Guy. Each calculator used its first TEP tier where applicable.

Two measures

• Right when it names a winner: of the trades where the calculator picked a side, how often that side matched the community's.
• Right answers delivered: of all trades with a community winner, how often the calculator gave you that answer. Calling a decided trade even counts as a miss.

Results, Oct 2025 - Aug 2026

FantasyCalc and Stats Guy are only three points apart when they name a winner, 82% to 85%. But FantasyCalc calls far more decided trades even, so that small accuracy gap grows to 44% versus 63% in right answers delivered. KeepTradeCut names winners at roughly the same rate as Stats Guy, though it agrees with the community just over half the time.

With no fair band at all, every tool forced to pick a side on all 2,802 decided trades: Stats Guy 79%, FantasyCalc 73%, KeepTradeCut 56%.

Adding RosterAudit

The RosterAudit value history we were able to access starts May 31, 2026, so it is scored on the window it covers. From June onward, 1,282 trades could be priced by all four systems, 1,195 of them with a community winner.

One caveat on RosterAudit’s results: its API serves value history for players but not picks, so trades containing picks, about 70% of this window, were priced with its current pick values.

By trade type

Accuracy on named winners, four-way comparison:

On one-for-one swaps all four calculators perform respectably, and KeepTradeCut is the most willing to make a call there. The differences concentrate in packages. Every calculator has to put the package premium somewhere: KeepTradeCut applies an adjustment at verdict time, FantasyCalc credits the side receiving fewer players a fixed waiver value, and RosterAudit and Stats Guy carry the premium in the value curve itself.

It is notable, though less surprising, that KTC picks the correct side on less than 50% of several-for-one trades. One possible reason is that KTC may also help create some of the trades in this sample. Managers can use its calculator to assemble packages that look balanced by KTC's values but still feel lopsided to another manager, then bring those offers to Reddit for a sanity check. If that happens often, these threads may be unusually likely to expose exactly the situations where KTC and human judgment disagree.

What this suggests

Overall, the results suggest that comparing individual assets isn't where trade calculators differ most. The harder problem is valuing consolidation and packages, and that's where the different approaches start producing very different answers. The good news is that there are multiple good options here, and each one excels in different ways.

I’ll continue adding new trade threads throughout the season and tracking how the results change as the sample grows. I also know this only covers a subset of the popular trade calculators, so I’m planning to bring more into the comparison over time. Open to suggestions in that regard. Cheers!

As the title is asking, I'm curious how people are feeling about Douglas in Miami? He's gotten a lot of training camp hype and praise from the coaches and the Dolphins have a wide open WR room. It seems as though the team already sees him as one of their top 2 WRs already. I understand that Chris Bell gets more love as a prospect compared to Douglas, however I think there's probably a good amount of targets for both of these players if they can prove themselves.

Douglas has the backing of the draft capital and the solid training camp. Could he potentially be one of the leading WRs on this team?

What changed since our last roundup

The Green Bay backfield blew up the board. MarShawn Lloyd is the No. 1 most-traded player with 2,265 trades nearly double anyone else, and the highest single-player count we've recorded. His commissioner exempt list teammate Josh Jacobs debuts right behind him at No. 2 (1,649). Both spiked on the same two days: Lloyd went from ~230 trades a day to 636, Jacobs from ~178 to 380. When two backs from the same room move together like that, it's a job-share getting repriced in real time.

Also new: TreVeyon Henderson enters at No. 10 as the single steepest discount on the board (below market in 66% of trades).

It's a running back board this week five of the ten are RBs, and the two Packers occupy the top two spots. The buy-low action is in three names going below market: TreVeyon Henderson (66%), Marvin Harrison (64%), and Brian Thomas (64%). Marvin Harrison has now spent three straight roundups on the discount side.

Where this data comes from

Being specific here, because it matters for how you read the numbers:

• Source: completed trades from real Sleeper dynasty leagues in our database. Not mock trades, not votes, not projections — deals that actually happened.
• Window: the trailing 7 days.
• Trade counts cover all dynasty formats: Superflex standard-TE 33%, Superflex + TE premium 30%, 1QB standard-TE 33%, 1QB + TE premium 4%. A trade is a trade regardless of scoring settings, so counting them together is the biggest and cleanest sample of "who's actually getting moved."
• Market Value is the Superflex, standard-TE, dynasty consensus value from our rankings page.
• Value Trend is scored only on Superflex standard-TE trades (24,002 of this week's deals), because that's the exact format our market values represent. We used to score every format against those values, which unfairly made QBs look discounted — 1QB leagues price quarterbacks far lower. Restricting the scoring to matched-format trades fixes that.
• Comparison is against our last published board, not a rolling window, so "new" and "dropped out" mean versus that post.

How to read Value Trend: we score each trade to see whether the acquiring manager paid above or below that player's market value. The % always reflects the player's dominant side — "below market" for buy-lows, "above market" for everyone else. 📉 = getting discounts (buy-low), ➡️ = trading around consensus.

During training camp, I only care about 3 things for the most part: injury/recovery news, negative coach speak/reports, and who they’re running on the field with.

Bull case:

• 4 star HS recruit, ~RB3-4 prospect in '24 draft class, top 100 draft capital
• Good size and rushing/receiving efficiency in college
• Part of his injury luck included a fluke event of appendicitis; went through offseason training program at Meyer Institute of Sport to fix potentially predisposing muscle imbalances; he hasn't had any injury concerns all summer
• Jacobs may not play this season; Packers' RB1 has been top 12 in PPG 6/7 last seasons

Bear case:

• He hasn't topped 129 touches in a season since high school
• While he's missed a similar number of games to Jonathon Brooks, almost all of his time missed at the pro level has been from numerous soft issue injuries
• Packers' recent RB success could reflect Aaron Jones / Josh Jacobs more than a system success
• With his injury history, maybe they just have a committee of Lloyd / Chris Brooks / newly acquired Kaleb Johnson

Browsing FantasyCalc's trade database, I see a lot of moves for him at a 2027 2nd. If you have him, are you letting it ride out or actively shopping him? If you are trying to buy, what're you willing to pay?

People with 10+ years, what can you share with new people?

Here are some of my tips:

• anecdotally, people doing complete rebuild who tear it down to the studs have a harder time succeeding than people who enter periodic rebuild where they actively try to get younger.

  • dynasty is developmental by nature; it's fun to chase rookies projected to make immediate contributions, the best values are found in players who breakout in year 2 or 3.
  • memorizing your leagues scoring system is key; the better you understand the mechanics the better a player you will be.
  • deeper leagues will have positions of scarcity or plenty, be willing to trade away positions of plenty aggressively while maintaining higher values for positions of scarcity.
  • a trade calculator is a good jumping off point to make sure a trade isn't unfair, it says nothing about whether or not the trade is a good one or not.
  • no one "wins" the draft, you are either following a strategy to build a team who can win it all or you are focued on certain players or archetypes that you find important. There is no right way to have fun but there are optimal ways to win.
  • there is no such thing as "too much aggression" for a team who is trying to win now.
  • there is no downside in drafting best player avaliable when you are a re-builder who can be patient
  • you should study players, teams, and leagues...but also yourself. Identity your own strengths and weaknesses, and determine a way to lean into strengths and minimize the impact of weaknesses. The worst players are the one's who never learn from their past mistakes and blame circumstance over and over again.
  • knowing how to pull off a good trade involves knowing the players but also knowing the team owner. If you don't know the motivations and thinking of your competition then you are unlikely to know when there is a golden opportunity to sell or buy someone.
  • future draft picks are far easier to obtain than current picks, use other people's impatience against them. Warren Buffett said "the stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient." Dynasty football is similar.
  • in any trade request received, always ask for a bit more. Asking for an extra future 3rd isn't going change anything, the guy making the offer will still move forward. Pick swaps are perhaps the most underrated way to enhance trade value without your trade partner noticing. Trading their likely to be early 2nd for your likely to be late 2nd is so difficult to quantify in their minds they will probably ignore it.
