EB World Plus

Tried to pre order the wolverine controller but need to sign up for the plus membership 😕

Got it for the same price at big W without any membership needed

I thought they would run out coz of this limited thing and I panicked and bought the plus membership.

It’s also available in jbhifi as well

I like supporting EB, hate to see their stores shutting but I think gatekeeping the pre orders behind their paid membership is a bad move

Anything limited (collectors editions, special controllers, tcg, etc.) Is being put behind plus

Ikr, I love EB, coz I got all my PS5 games on a good deal. But it’s kinda annoying that they would sell their controllers behind the plus membership.

A word of advice - Do not order controllers from JB if it’s a delivery-only item. They post in a thin plastic mailer bag, with no padding at all. Even limited edition collector’s item-type controllers. Zero care will be put into packing your purchase carefully. I learned the hard way. My Death Stranding 2 controller arrived in very rough condition.

Ordered the last 10 special edition controllers for Xbox and ps5 from JB. Never had an issue

Every time I even look in the direction of an EB Games store I'm asked if I want to renew my plus as it's 'ending soon', it's been 'ending soon' since a month or two after I paid for the year, that's right pissed me off so now unless it's a steal of a deal, I buy that sort of stuff from absolutely anywhere else.
