INTP here.

Is there anything you guys wonder about or are confused about when it comes to INTPs? If you've got any questions, ask away. Random questions are welcome too.

What's satisfying about understanding, how biological/physical processes/mechanisms work?

How does it trigger satisfaction, when you understood something? What about it makes it fascinating to you?

Genuinely it bugs me when I don't understand something. Even if I tell myself it's not that important or worth chasing, I somehow end up doing it anyway.

Mechanisms and frameworks especially interest me, and it's not just about understanding of knowing it, it's being able to arrive at my own understanding and put it in my own words that actually triggers the satisfaction.

And I lowkey get fascinated with my own way of thinking too, like "wait how did I even come up with that.

I think ESFPs are more primordial and have the inner beats within. Whereas the intp is an analytical basement dweller that will be physically squandered by the ESFP. the intp, however, has an intrinsic value that would never be understood by ESFP. That is just my theory anyway.

BTW I am not esfp.
